What will happen in the next thirty years?

 20250731

What will happen in the next thirty years?

There will be a calm and peaceful time ahead.

Everybody is working hard.

Everybody is running at a speed.

Everybody knows if he is running too fast,  he will tumble on the ground.

Thirty years are long for anyone, but short for the planet.

It's just like a sleepy long night.

You will wake up after that.

And you will discover the scenery has completely changed.

The sun will rise all in a sudden.

Colors will cover all the planet.

Be prepared for the excitement.

And be prepared for the long era.

<將來頌>

translated by AI

Here is the English translation of the poem:

Thirty years of calm and quiet

No wind, no waves before the jade steps

Dense planting and deep cultivation, praised by people

Old books flipped through, no longer fresh

Still seeking colors in the mountains and fields

Painting and writing, deep and shallow strokes

Suddenly, the red sun rises with flying clouds

A colorful banner bursts forth unexpectedly

What is the relation of culture and politics?

 20250730 B

What is the relation of politics and culture?

If I say culture is the sea and  politics is the ship,  it might not be satisfactory.

Because culture can produce politics, but a sea cannot produce a ship.

It is funny but not important.

Politics can change culture sometimes.

Good politics can "induce" better culture, and vice versa.

Can a ship "induce" the sea?

Therefore, politics is more useful than a ship.

We hope to have good politics.

Because politics is human strength.

With a proper use of human strength,  happiness can be created.

That is why good politics is  important.

*   "Happiness" cannot be "created",  but a platform for living in happiness can be created..... )

Where are you my love? (A song)

20250730

Where are you my love

Where are you my love?

My tears were dried.

Where would you be going?

You will be rain drops on my head,

Kissing me on my face.

Remember and remember.

Disappoint and disappoint.

I wish to find you in my dream.

You will be with me again.

It might not happen in this life.

I will be waiting till the next.

Can poems help you think?

Poetic rhymes can help your tempo of thoughts flow better.

Poems are musical.

You might or might not be "using" poems in your thought,  but poems can refine your musical speed of thoughts.

All of a Sudden

All of a Sudden

(A song in the style of Chinese Waltz)

Fifty years passed

with no reason

Time drifts on

In months and days

As I remain lost

Who betrayed

Youth’s innocence?

Would the heart return?

Awaiting the cuckoo’s call.

Shallow waters

Repulse Bay

Flowing without end

The sand

A setting sun

Over Victoria Harbour

Leaves behind

Smoke and solitary

Pure love

May now be a memory

Be it yes or no

See you again

How can the rescuer forgets action no.6?

 20250728  B

How can the rescuer forgets "action no.6"?

The following is a fictional scenario.   Because in  actual daily lives,  its impossible to happen.

If the rescuer forgets about the "action number 6",  it means he had forgotten to turn on the oxygen supply for the wounded person he was helping.  It would be extremely serious. It might cause the death of the patient.

There must be a sequence of thoughts in our brains when we are doing anything.   For example, when you are home from a holiday,   the first thing you need to do is search for your key to open the door.  Next is to enter the house.  3rd is to open the windows. 4th is to turn on the lights, etc.

It is a sequence of actions.  And every action has a reflection in the brain.   In daily lives you don't need to remember the sequence of actions.  But in the case of a rescue,  the discipline of rescue must be followed.   You can not forget any one of them.   And you must follow the exact sequence to do.

How can anyone forget the importance of oxygen supply?

We have two kinds of thinking since early history.

One is the laws from the left brain.... maybe it's not a law,  it is only a sequence of thinking.

Two is the function of composing in the right brain.

To make it very, very simple:   There are lots of words in the left brain;   it is the role of the right brain to compose them.

If you have missed the no.6 word in a long sentence, there might be a fault in your brain......

The fault might be deadly sometimes.

Balancing the brains is important in future lives.

Exceptions are for talents like Albert Einstein.  He can forget to put on his pants when going out.

..

How can he missed the No.6?

 20250728  A

How can he missed "No.6"?

I was really reluctant to write the above title:

"How can he missed the No.6?"

I wish to change it into the following:

" How can the No.6 be missed? "

And I think it is obvious different.  Because I don't want to use the word "he".   Because the word "he" is  male in gender.   Some people would like to use  the word "he/she" instead.  But it will slow the flow of English.   It is the weakness of English.   The English people do not have a word like "他", in the older Chinese.

Because the one I wanted to write about is a rescuer. The person could be male or female. And in this case I have no word in English to use.  It is the weakness of a spelling  language like English. It will hinder the flow of thought.

But now the Chinese do not have that word "他" either.   The Chinese can only write "他/她" if they wish to express a meaning in the case of both sex.

Anyone can be a rescuer, either male or female.

When the rescuer is running to the scene to help, the rescuer can be a male or a female. There are lots of different scenarios like this.  People during the May 4th Movement in 1919 were too clever to "invent" a word "她",  and the word "她"  had pushed away  the non-gendered "他".

It seems to be a small matter at first.

But actually it is not a small matter.   If anything deters or hinders the flow of thought of a whole nation,  it must be an important issue not to be neglected.

It is not to be neglected.

Note:

The point about the person running to help had missed  issue "No.6"........ it might be interesting, it is important.  Because it is about the flow in the thought of the mind.   I will discuss it later.

How different are "knowledge" and "wisdom"?

 20250727

How different are "knowledge" and "wisdom"?

It was said that wisdom is the ability to use your knowledge.

But it is not completed,  although it is very near.

Because wisdom is not definable.

Humans cannot know what wisdom is.

You cannot teach me what wisdom is and you cannot tell me how to use wisdom.

Unless you are the super nature,  or unless you are the unknown.

I will be extremely happy if you are the unknown and you can tell me more.

Even though if you are not the unknown, but still you can tell me.

If you know what should I do, it is wisdom.

I need to say thank you.

Am I doing the right thing?

It is better if I am not doing?

It needs a wisdom to decide.

From this sense,  I know some of the hidden secret:

It is more difficult for not doing.

It is easy to do,  and it is diffuculy not to do.

It means you can control yourself:   with a wisdom.

It is extremely happy in doing what your true mind thinks.

And it is also extremely happy in controlling not to do the things which ought not to do.

What is wisdom?

Wisdom is outside the sphere of doing or not doing.

Wisdom is not related to daily livings.

Wisdom is the connection.

And the connection is for a few only.

Why "wisdom" is seldom a goal for humans?

 20250726

Why "wisdom" is seldom a goal for humans?

Instead,  "knowledge" is more common for some smart  people.

 Many like "wellbeing" or "wealth".

And "wisdom" is the result of a goal,  "wisdom" is not an object itself.

 Although humans need wisdom desperately.

Humans will have a better future if their "wisdom" is higher.

Subjects like "philosophy" or "psychology" is popular in schools.   But wisdom is not a subject.

 Where are the humans going?

What is the goal of humans?

When everyone is looking for "money",   awareness could only emerge sometimes in their death beds.

What do you want to achieve in your lifetime?

What do humans want to achieve in their whole span of time?

The general question is:  "What have you done?"

That is not enough.

Humans need to go up a further "level" for the future.

When everybody is living like a monkey,  we need someone who can raise his head and said, where are we going?

What is the "purpose" of our universe?

What is the "purpose" of our universe?

I suppose you have read the following article before reading this.

For the cultures in this universe,  I thought they are in 8 types.   From the wisdom of the Greek culture, to the "well behavior(乖)" of the Chinese.....

This morning when I read this article again suddenly something appeared in my mind:

What is the real purpose of this universe?

It occurs to me a special situation:

What is the "thought" of the universe before life has begun?

If there was no life in the universe,  how would the situation be?

It was my imagination to design a "thought" for this universe.   The universe may or may not have a thought like I can imagine.

Why it needs life?

If the universe doesn't need a life, then there will be no life in this universe.

The question is:  why the universe needs life?

It is interesting and it is arguable but it's meaningless to argue.

Why the universe needs life to sustain himself?  or to sustain "herself"?

(In Chinese culture, you don't need to separate him or her.  the word "他" can express both.)

( And the universe might be a life already,  its only annoying if the concept is too clear to discuss any question)

Now let's get back to the question: why the universe needs a life ?

There's  one answer:

The universe doesn't know its purpose too,  so the universe needs to create more lives to help him understand.

And this is only my imagination.

I hope it is useful.

note:

a story for your reference

The discussion here is about the "path" problem in culture.

This story was told by the Japanese entrepreneur Konosuke Matsushita. He used this story to illustrate the importance of perseverance.

I have repeated this story on various occasions over the years. But it was only today, after many years, that I truly understood its cultural significance. It is far more important than merely exhibiting a "perseverance" spirit. Because this story can also inspire us to compare different cultures, such as Greek culture, Christian culture, and even Islamic culture.

The story goes like this: In the old Edo Castle, a young dyer’s apprentice happened to see a famous courtesan of the time, and was struck by her beauty. When he returned to the dyeing factory and told his colleagues, one of them advised him to give up that idea. Because, visiting that courtesan once would cost thirty gold coins—about two years’ wages for the young apprentice. The young apprentice was undeterred, and from that moment, he started saving money. Two years later, he had indeed saved up thirty gold coins, and went to the courtesan’s house to find her.

The courtesan did her best to entertain him. The next morning, when he was leaving, she saw him off at the gate and said as usual, “Please come again.” But the young apprentice said he would have to wait two more years before returning. Confused, she asked why. The young apprentice then honestly explained that he had been saving money for two years just to be able to come. Hearing this, the courtesan was deeply moved. After thinking for a moment, she told him, “No need to wait two years. Marry me.”

After their marriage, the young apprentice worked very hard. Eventually, he became the owner of a dyeing factory in Edo.

What lessons does this story teach?

Konosuke Matsushita said that no matter what you do, as long as you put in your best effort, you will succeed (roughly).

And indeed, it seems to be true. Saving money for two years is extremely difficult. And this young apprentice was pursuing a simple goal with all his heart — he had done his very best. The courtesan, just by this single act of perseverance, recognized that the young apprentice had potential. Her quick decision was not because she was particularly clever, but because she was rooted in the core values of Japanese culture.

This small story, at most, has a bit of motivational power. But what is its significance?

From a cultural perspective, the depth and perspective are different.

Human cultures each emphasize different aspects. Some of these include:

Intelligence, Love, Faith, Money, Emptiness, Obedience, Hatred, Ruthlessness, ...

Intelligence:** Greek culture

Love:** Christian culture

Faith:** Islamic culture

Money:** American and Jewish cultures

Emptiness:** Buddhist culture

Obedience:** Confucian culture

Hatred:** Nazi culture

Ruthlessness:** Japanese culture

For example, American culture emphasizes money over love. Confucian culture values obedience (obedience over intelligence), while Buddhist culture pursues emptiness and looks down on material wealth.

Particularly noteworthy is the Greek emphasis on "wisdom."

Wisdom is different from science. Many other cultures that seek to learn from the West assume that Western culture is mainly about technology. That is a grave misconception. Western culture originates from Greece, and its core is wisdom. Wisdom and technology are entirely different concepts. But this issue is not the main point of this article, so I will leave it for future discussion.

The main focus here is the story of the young apprentice in Edo. This highly praised story shares the same cultural significance as the recent story about a female college student who, after cleaning a restroom, wanted to drink a mouthful of toilet water.

Balancing culture is not easy.

When one element of culture is overly emphasized, others tend to be neglected.

For example, placing too much importance on external material things (like money) can lead to ignoring human love. Conversely, focusing too much on spiritual values (like emptiness) might cause neglect of external material needs. Confucianism emphasizes obedience (obedience over wisdom), which can prevent exploration of the universe as Greeks did.

Some might argue: Isn't Confucianism about promoting wisdom, benevolence, and courage?

But studying culture isn’t just about words. Both Japanese and Indian cultures, for instance, emphasize wisdom in their language. Yet, their cultures did not necessarily follow that path. Culture should be judged by what they actually do, not just what they say.

The samurai spirit in Japanese culture can be summarized as ruthlessness. Ruthlessness, or a Spartan-like view of bravery, does not include wisdom or compassion. This kind of martial valor emphasizes persistence. Persisting with a steadfast belief means not wavering. Saving money for two years with the goal of visiting a courtesan once is an example. But Japanese culture doesn’t care what he does; it only values persistence.

Excessive persistence can lead to mistakes, as well. Therefore, the Japanese right-wing’s insistence that the Second World War was justified reflects this cultural trait.

The eight cultural elements listed above do not represent the entire culture but highlight certain tendencies. These tendencies often overlap or are ignored altogether. The Chinese saying “Greatness lies in tolerance” suggests that future Chinese culture, or universal culture, will adopt the strengths of various cultures, rather than just focusing on a Japanese “harmony of spirit and Western technology” or the late Qing’s “Chinese essence with Western means.”

Additionally, it’s important to clarify: cultural elements are different from the ultimate purpose of culture.

Culture is like a road. The road itself is not the destination.

Long-term goals are hard to see clearly. In contrast, short-term goals are easier to identify.

For example, the Jewish goal of escaping Egypt was a short-term objective. The Chinese resistance during the eight-year war was also a short-term goal. But what happens after escaping Egypt? What after the victory in the resistance? These questions relate to your long-term purpose. And this is also the highest expectation from the universe — whether humans can truly understand the fundamental purpose of life.

Cultural elements are not necessarily the ultimate purpose of life. Even love might just be a way of life; love itself may not be the goal. This insight comes from Aristotle. But this is a vast and very important topic that deserves detailed future discussion.

Food flows through teeth gaps

Like cows chewing grass.

Why sweat so hard,

Only to let time slip away?

For heaven, for earth, for the people,

For life, for death, for the soul.

Nothing is better than to do it truely

With genuine friends and a  new sun.

What is the secret of leadership?

 20250723

What is the secret of leadership?

The only secret of leadership is in the mind of your people.

A true leader will always thinking for the mind of the people.

Then the people will be united together to support him.

Because he is the mind of them.

It is useless to say American First.

The real thing is what you can do for your own people.

It seems to be a very simple case.

But if you put this case in  politics,   it will be complicated  at once.

Numerous considerations will put aside your original thought.

It's very simple:

In modern politics, you cannot do what you think.

You need a complete team of people thinking the same as your thought.

It was easy in war times.

It will be difficult in peaceful times.

Because everybody is thinking about his own benefit in peaceful time.

Selfishness is the problem.

Some leaders in the west will choose to share the money with followers.

But I don't know whether it can work well.

The best way is to share the thought.

It needs a true leader to do the job.

And it will be more difficult if underground party is working behind.

Why Mind-set is not Mental power?

 20250723

Why Mind-set is not Mental power?

If someone's mind-set is money oriented,   the total purpose of life is for money only......other people may or may not agree with it.

However, this is a mindset, not a mental power.  Mental power is another thing, no matter what the purpose is.

In a word,  a bad guy could have a strong will or a good guy could have a weak will.

It is in the difference of your purpose.

A good purpose needs a strong will;  yet a bad purpose also needs a strong will.

We must always remember,   this might be the design of Heaven.

Heaven doesn't care whether our purpose is good or bad.

This planet needs good people and also needs bad people.

If all people in this planet are good,  then the planet will not last long.

It is up to you whether you choose to be a bad guy or a good guy.

However,   everyone needs a strong will to carry out his own purpose.

If your will is not strong enough,  you will be punished.

That meant you will suffer.

And that is nothing to do with the kind of ideology you chose to live.

You can have any purpose in your life.,  but you need a strong will to support it.

The stronger side will survive better.

Please note that we are putting two concepts together to discuss.

The first set of concept is strong and weak.

The second set of concept is good and bad.

And you are free to choose.

Can we turn verbal "love" into an internal-quality of humans?

 20250722

Can we turn verbal "love" into an internal-quality of humans?

May be you have noticed it long ago,  though it is not a reality:

If you see someone fell on the ground,  it is very likely you will offer help.

If you see someone falling and almost reaching the ground,  you will reach out your hand even more quickly.

This kind of reaction is the inner-built quality of human beings.

Your reaction is so fast, it seems you need not to think deeply about it.

This is the inner quality of "love" you have in mind.

But this kind of reaction will not easily happen in diplomatic affairs.

Lots of complications made things difficult.....though  sometimes the principle is almost the same.

Can you care about the feelings of you neighbors?

It is difficult because it is in diplomatic level.

You'll be happily successful if you can draw the distance from a country-to-country level to a human-to-human level.

It is seldom to mention about "love" in international circles.

Terms are often in proper legal expressions,  they will not use words with a feeling.

It is externalized,  not internalized.

World peace will be nearer if feelings of love can be deeply internalised.

It must be a long way to "internalize" good qualities in human.

This is the only thing we can do.......its more important than flying to Mars.

Why old people died in loniness?

Why old people died in loniness?

20250721  B

The only reason is selfishness.

It is the problem of the society.

Lots of people regards love important.  But it is not in the function of the paradigms.

And it is not in the function of the society.

You cannot say the society is lacking love.

But love is not in the inner function of the society.

The inner function is: "not concerned".

Maybe it needs lots of years to overcome this weakness.

The only hope is some people could aware of it earlier.

There are lots of passionate persons in this society.

But it is too few of them.

We have too many greedy people.

One worse story circulating is that a rich daughter refuses vistors for her mother.   She wanted to keep her mother alone always.  She ordered the guards not to allow anyone to visit.

The rich mother was a teacher before.   She has got lots of loving students.

The daughter is worring her mother would have help.

The daughter wanted to keep all the money on her own hand....

Money is not the safe guard for your old age.

But if you have no money,  everything will change.

So many people died lonely without any visitors and was found dead many years later.

Cleaners will come to collect their white bones after a  long period of time.

Because love is not in the inner-mind of many.

Love is only verbal.

Sure,  love is always verbal in our society.

A bunch of white bones is what we have got finally.

Is Qi spiritual or physical?

 20250721

Is Qi  spiritual or physical?

I do not think I'm the right person to answer this question.   It might be a guess only.   And I hope more people will be involved in this study.

My first observation is that Qi seems to be physical.  Qi can be moved around your body and there will be effects happenning when th Qi arrived.

More experiment is needed to see if the Qi can move outside your body into other places.

It seems Qi is a mind activity.  In that sense, Qi must be spiritual.

But it is not totally spiritual.

All Chinese know about the poem by Wen Tian Xiang:  "The Song of Positive Qi",  in which,  Qi is a positive spirit, more than an mind-controlled energy.

Maybe they are two different things,  or two  different features in the same object.

One kind of Qi is spiritual.

The other kind of Qi is physical.

We need a spirit as a  ultimate support in our living or fighting.

But we also need a strength.

The strength is from our inner energy.

And our inner energy can be called or stimulated.

It is extremely important.

You will have a healthy body.

And more important of all:  You will have a healthy country,  you will be strong,  together with you fellow comrades in the strong country.

What is the most lucrative science application now?

Most lucrative is Qi.

And money is safe when putting into Qi.

Because Qi is a medical science.

Medical Qi can replace many of the western medicine.

Medical Qi is cheap.

All you need is a few years to train medical students in using Qi.

However, the benefit of Qi study is more than that.

Because Qi is an energy,  together with electricity.

If money is put into the study of Qi,  and nothing new is found,  money will not be wasted.

Because Qi is a medical tool.  If Qi cannot be used in industries, it can be  absolutely useful in the field of Chinese medicine.

The question is the curiosity about Qi.

Enough curiosity will push the science of Qi going forward.

Ought all science to become applied science?

 20250720  B

Ought all science to become applied science?

When applied science is so lucrative, and the richest man on Earth, Elon Musk, has been accumulating wealth through new applications—or "innovations," if some people insist on using that term—the world is changing its attitude towards science. There will be no pure science anymore.

Science is not a holy thing now.   Science is a slave for making money.

When no one is searching for the reasons of this universe or the aims of our life,   temporary money is flowing in,   blocking the windows and views of the future.

The future will have nowhere to go except one place: that is war.

The above is the first theme of our discover about the applicational tendency.

 The question is:

"Should we close our eyes for money?"

The wind scatters dust

20250720

The wind scatters dust,

swirling free,

Stars shimmer softly

over crimson sea.

Morning greets the sun,

rain visits my dusk.

High-speed rails glide silent,

no dust nor wind.

Unexpected whispers rise,

from distant sky,

Never did I notice

my temples’ gray.

Flowers bloom and fade

where do they stray?

Laughing, listening,

to the idle words they say.

Can the US-Russia-China balance keep a longer time?

 20250719

Can the US-Russia-China balance be maintained for a longer period?

The answer will be yes or no or I don't know.

Only one thing is sure.   That the balance will be broken someday.

There will not be everlasting peace on earth.

However, no one expects war to happen soon.

Everyone wants peace.

The question is how can you maintain the balance?

Everyone wants more.

Self restraint is rare in humans.

What do you need here?

Do you want a treaty of peace among them? Or,  simply a brain?

Yes, you need three brains to keep the balance,  but you need only one brain to break it.

But,  the problem is not here.

Nor,  a more stronger economy to stand firm.

The ultimate solution is in their minds.

The basic setup of the civilizations  are a real problem for all humans.

I hope talents will be working on it more.

note:

Do you know the old song:

"Three coins in a fountain?"

now it is

"Three brains in a toilet......who is able to use it?  I  wont tell  even I could......Damn hell if you go........"
