We are living in a good time now. Human beings will be living as a grand being more than separated individuals. To compare with the money-oriented past, humans will be living in a wisdom-oriented future. It will be a status of true love. Humans need not to kill each other to survive, they will co-operate. They are leaving the historical dark ages and going to a brighter future. 

It is because humans had found a better way to live.  Humans had evolved into a  cooperation status.  Thinking pattern has changed.

Natural evolution has made human beings wise.  And evolution has made their bodies changed. They are developing inner connections between themselves.

Humans had entered the age of socialism since the end of world war II.

When we estimate this special period of human history, we are looking at trends, not  countries. We need to know where would we be going.

Humans were riding on a machine, it seems to be flying now.

It is like the first flying airplane ever invented. 

It's not  perfect for airplanes. It's far from perfect. But it's the first flying machine. It can fly. All other machines cannot fly, except this one. It is not the performance of  a single country, but a trend of our time.  We are in the form of lonely individuals no more.  We are living in the form of a wise cooperation.  We are living in the form of one. 

By the time of a cooperation period, one of the major concern is China.

China is merely one of the early models of it.

It could be the process of history. And it could be the process of evolution. Humans must be in the upper ladder of evolution now. It's just like climbing the stairs. They need a strength to go up.  It is not easy. It is hard work. But it does worth to try.

In the process of evolution, humans will develop many skills never seen before. They can read other people's mind. They can listen other people's inner voice. They will cooperate in a higher form of existence. They will use less language. They will use more inner  communications. Humans are not individuals anymore. They will have more inner strength. They will not rely on external force like the old times. They will solve  problems between countries with an inner communication method.  They need no more wars,  as they are communicative internally. 

It will happen within the next 1000 years.  Don't worry that you're not there to witness the change. Because if we are one, our perception about life is different. There will be a deep concern for anyone of us to consider about the well being of humans 1000 years later. Our perceptions about life in the old days are short,  life was a short span around one hundred or so . And now  our perception about life is long. We are thinking about a grand phenomenon of the humans. Anyone will have a  different vision now,  if he is willing to pick up that vision.

Do I need such  perception  to think in terms of a total being?   Yes,  It helps a lot. It helps one to be happy and healthy. You will live longer than others. If you can conceive that you are one of the whole, your concern have reached to the grand universe. You have the eyesight of a universe being. You will fear nothing.  And you are free.

We are leaving the ugly old days now.  We are not money-oriented anymore.  In the old time, one will need to fight for his own survival. That was the need for individuals, or families. And in the upper level of our life, we are not money-oriented anymore. Money  was the origin of sin in the past.   And actually,  money is not sin,  we cannot say that was a sin.  Humans were just like lonely tigers, they need to survive to act like a fierce  individual beast.  Now we are wisdom-oriented.  We need not to be selfish anymore.

You may ask why are there so many selfish people still?  All we need is to remember one thing: That we are on an up hill travel. We are on a flying airplane like the one human first invented. It can fly. It can fall. It is not perfect. It needs our effort to work on it. 

During the course of evolution, there must be someone going faster in two legs. There must be some people who couldn't do that. They can only walk in legs plus hands.  And there will be a day no one will be walking in four limbs.  That is called  evolution.  No one is selfish in the future.

And it is not the same old fashion airplane we had.  Future people need  more socialist countries. There will be better and better socialist countries in the future.

We will be loving each other more than before.  Because we had parted with the past. And we are entering a future of wisdom-oriented  history. 

For the time being, China the socialist country is far from perfect. They are still walking in 4 limbs sometimes. But the time will come.  There will be a time when all are walking in 2 legs. And there will be no selfish  people.  Everyone will be honest.  It won't be long.

If anyone can perceive this, he can have a perception of  Millenniums. He will join the mind of the grand being. He will not die.

All because of a sudden death of a young man whom I knew that the question was raised. 

He is not Chinese, and to avoid unnecessary guess,  I will not talk about his nationality. It is not important. 

He was rich, and young. He came to Hong Kong according to family arrangement. He worked for a famous bank and was earning huge money at his early young age. He was only twenty something. His family meant to let him work in Singapore, but he chose Hong Kong.    

He died suddenly by falling from a high building roof-top private garden. I believe he was not suicide. He was drinking with his girlfriend in the house. Several wine bottle was left on the table. It was believed that he was on drug at the moment when he fell. A few drugs were found in the house later. His girl friend was staying in the house and he was alone on the roof-top. 

Why did he go up the roof top? 

Maybe he felt hot or he had a fancy of something. 

The point is the aim of life. He has got the things most people wanted. He has got a girlfriend, sex, money and he finds it not enough, he indulges himself on drugs. 

What is he looking for?  It is “pleasure” the common goal in many countries. 

Some philosopher told us that pleasure, or happiness is the only thing which could not be an aim in life. Whenever you start seeking for pleasure, you will not have it. And the only result is vain. Happiness is something which will enter your life without your awareness. When you are working for something  earnestly and concentrated, suddenly happiness will be there. It is not an aim; it could only be a second product of your effort.

Why do we need to tell such a story when we are talking about the leadership of mankind? 

Yes, many people had an illusion that it was money that matters.  A leading country must be the richest country in the world. 

And it was wrong. 

A true leadership does not need to be rich. 

It was like a group of people who were lost in a dark forest. It was not money that can lead them to a safe place, but the knowledge of a direction. 

Do you know about the purpose of life? and the purpose of human beings?

Do you know the way out of the forest? 

Some one would laugh at such an idea. He will say, when I have got the money, I will find out a way. That was why I need to tell the story of a young man falling from a height. Money could help a little. But it needs something else for a direction. 

It needs a wisdom to know the meaning of life. 

The country which knows it, and acts on it, should be the leader of the world. Because if the country knows the meaning of life, they would surely have a proper way to lead a better life. Anyone who knows the way out of the dark forest will be the leader. Others will follow. 

What is the point? 

The point is:

Wisdom is more important than money. 

And this is the opposite of human behavior now. 

All countries are  taking "science"  very seriously. They thought it is the only thing that could bring in money and if your country have money, even you are sure that your country is on the way to destruction, and it is ok. 

Very talented young arts people were ignored. Arts subject like Music, Literature, and Painting etc. remain unnoticed always. Old philosophers would be beggars and will die on the street. Who would mind to think about the things not related to “development” or “investment”?  "Investment" is for commercial purpose only. People will not care to give a dime for the arts. They have money, but they just don't care to spare a few coins. It is the wisdom within them determined their thought.  They have been too eagar for an external success. 

"Science" is a name very different few hundred years ago. "Science" meant only money now in the modern world. Many of the rich science people do not have curiosity. They had forgotten to search for the meaning of life long ago. 

Any country who could find out the meaning of life will lead the world. Money or nuclear weapons could not lead the world, only wisdom could.

And the following issue seems interesting. 

The Chinese Monkey King Sun Wu Kong had almost found the answer when he entered hell and fetched the Directory of Death from the King of Hell the Yama Raja, he was very angry to have found his own name "Sun wu Kong" was on the list of the Directory of Death. He deleted his own name immediately. That meant he will not die from now on. Because the  Directory had a time table for every body in the world, and every body will die on time. Since he had deleted his own name, he was sure to enter eternity. 

And it was in this place Chinese philosophy was meeting with the West. 

What if you are in Heaven already? What if you will not die? What is the meaning of a person living eternally? What is the purpose in going to the Heavens? Do you like Eating and Drinking and Having Sex and Drugs every day? 

That is the puzzle of the Western civilization. And China also.

It is a difficult question:  What is the meaning of eternity? Why we all wish to have it?

The lucky thing in human history was that we had entered the Age of Socialism.  

Humans are  regarded as a whole and humans are more than individuals. The whole species will last longer.  

Socialism is not a perfect design and  needs modification, but the concept is not the same with the old idea of individualism. 

When each and every person can see himself as an image of a total specis, he will have a new vision.

Humans are regarded as a whole. The purpose of human life could be seen more clearly.  

There will be love in the whole more than individual fighting. 

And to search for the meaning of a whole is much easier than the meaning of a self. 

Those are not selfish will find out the direction of life more easily. 

It is sure that humans will have a bright future under the leadership of a country of wisdom. 

It is a very clear point that leadership is related to wisdom more than wealth. Who will be the leading country in the future?  It is only about their wisdom, not necessary their socialistic or capitalistic approach. 

There were no socialistic concepts in earlier history. However, a different  idea about how humans should be living appeared. It is in the very early beginning of the Age of Socialism now. We do not know how long the Age of Socialism will last, but it is obvious that to search for the future is better through a whole body than  single units. 

This is the ultimate reason why you need to love your country. To think in the terms of a whole country is more effective than to think for the selfish self or family interest.

One will have a deeper and wider vision for this.

The conflict could be settled in a higher level of wisdom of both the countries. 

When  they have reached to a higher level of wisdom, they could see the real interest of themselves as well as the world.

 

We shall examine the situation if they cannot reach the higher level and we might need to know the following:-

(1) What will happen before they have reached the higher level. 

(2) What needs to be done in such a situation.

Why is the right brain so important ?

It is due to the efficiency or non-efficiency of the right brain, countries had gone to different paths and their behaviour sometimes uncontrollable. 

One obvious and rather extreme example is Japan. 

Japanese culture is  left-brain-oriented. They had designed a left-brain-oriented language and the language made them more left-oriented.  

They can calculate but weak to comprehend the total scenario,  it seems.

The left side function of the brain is to handle digital objects only. A left-brain-oriented person can be good at languages and calculating. But they are weak in the total analysis of situations, they are lacking the power to comprehend and to feel.  

Many(but not all) of the left-oriented people turn into greedy as they can only understand the meaning of money. They cannot comprehend the total situation which needs the function of a right-brain. A right brain is for the complete scenario and the grand parts of it, while a left brain is equipped with numerous receptors to store language, chips, or smaller items that needs calculating. 

That is why the left brainers in Japan had started the 2nd-World-War trying to conquer the whole world, when they had calculated their war-resources and found that they were the strongest and unbeatable by that time. 

And it needs to notice that the left and right sides of the brain are not absolutely divided. It is only a kind of orientation or inclination of the sides that made the difference. Left-sided people can use some of the right side function, though they were mainly using the left-side, and were strong  in chips calculating but weak in comprehensive thoughts. 

That means they cannot be very creative. And  they will not have a deep feeling. 

It should be noted that there will not be absolutes in the brain. We need to use the term "oriented", that means they may not be completely left-brainers, but left-oriented brainers. They can use the right brain too, though many of them refuse to do so. 

May be that was the fate of history, I had found that there were more left-brainers than right-brainers. You have lots of left-brainer friends, though only a few were far-lefted and very selfish, but the average of them were left, they were bound to be a common folk and will not be achieving much and will not be talented. They cannot comprehend much in life. They can only count the money. 

Language had been playing an important role in the human thoughts. Japanese language is a spelling language. It is not like the other spelling language. In English you pronounce the words not one by one. You will not say w-o-r-d, but a  sound of "word",  however, the Japanese need to pronounce almost every single alphabet of the word like w-o-r-d.  That meant they had a smaller unit in the brain, and their left-brain is more detailed, and their receptors and chips are much smaller and stronger than the other left-brain civilizations. 

They are more tend to calculate than to comprehend. People like this will not believe in the left-right theory, because they can not have the experience other than counting. Many believed that thoughts are based in language and they use only language to think. They do not know thinking could be a much wider sphere of brain functions and could use other tools to think. Its a pity that most of the left-brainers could not feel it. 

It could be a tragedy if people live their whole lives based in counting.  What if the counting is wrong? 

The 2nd-world-war was started based in a wrong counting. 

Chinese people are more than lucky that they have a very special language needs not to arrange the alphabets. The words itself is a complete symbol, and that could be the base of a right-brain thinking. Though it could not be using only the right-brain, but certainly it is right-oriented. 

In the conflicts happened between China and the States, you will see the US side are blaming and cursing all the time while the Chinese side is only listing the facts. The Chinese people are not counting and can use a wider sphere of thoughts to handle things.

There are not only Left and Right sides of the brains. The function of Emotions is the third part of it. 

Left Brain   + Emotion     -->  Temper (to blame)

Right Brain + Emotion     -->   Feeling (to love)

(That could be the reason why some people like to use guns to settle things in the States)

(When left-brainers can use their right, they could be good inventors, but still be bad tempered.  Thomas Edison invented the electrict execution chair and he had no feeling when he saw his victim suffered in the chair and started to calculate why his electrict current was not strong enough.  )

And brains are but tools of the mind. As mind is the ultimate decision maker. It is fine if the mind has got a better tool, but if the mind do not have a proper tool, still the mind can manage to make a good decision. 

That is the reason of hope for humans, even when you have a very bad tool, but still you have always a choice and do as your deeper mind decides.     

We need to say a few word more, as the thinking process is not only a brain function, it could be a total process of all the human body, including the heart, the intestine, the liver, and even the eyes and the skin. When things happen, you would feel your heart beat faster with a special feeling in the guts, and your liver is helping a lot to keep you balanced. The total behaviour is your mind, though you cannot locate where your mind is but it is certain that you do have a mind.

However, we need to stress again that the right-brain is important as it can help us to see the whole picture. It is the source of creativity and inventions. It is the basic part of an advanced civilization. The Chinese civilization can do more to help the whole world if their right-brain function is well kept and developed more.   

Right-brainers are more lucky that they can use the left too. It is not very difficult for right-brainers to learn the spelling language.  They could balance themselves more easily. Left brainers can try to read more to open their right side, and learning Chinese is helpful. Serious thinkers would try to use the Chinese writing brush to write.  It is beautiful, and right-oriented.

The Universe Man

You will not see the great poets, but they are always here with their words.

Life is in life,  humans will be angels.

Spirits are in the universe,  wisdom coming up like spring.

We shall be walking hand in hand, thousands of years in time.

Where are we going?  The road is easy to search.

Both you and I knew it well,  it's all the way up.

There are millions of flowers,  each one has its own color.

There are millions of life spans,  each of them are bright.

There is a secret in the universe,  It's opening  one by one  like flowers.

Bravery and perseverance are here,  we search with our heart,  our blood, our qi  and our strength.

Until one day  we have found the truth and the beauty.

It's all the good in the universe for us.

What is the real situation in China?

"One must live for a great cause",  my teacher wrote for me in my Junior high school graduation ceremony. I kept that in memory and will never forget. 

"One must build his self-respect", this is the line given to the students in a graduation ceremony in Beijing University recently. 

It is contrary to the spirit of China. China is a good example of human evolution. Humans have been changing from a self-interest period to a co-operation period. Selfless dedication is the new spirit in China. To serve the people is the goal for the best students in China.  

A representative of the teachers gave a short speech in the ceremony and won many applauses. It was the response from the students which is an alert to see how the spirit in Beijing University has been decaying. 

Self-honor, Self-trust, Self-illumination, Self-assurances, Self-love, etc. were the theme of the so-called self-respect. Its all centered in the self while the main trend of   a selfless dedication spirit to serve the people was neglected. 

The speaker did not mention about the people and the country. His concern was how should one build his own self-respect only. That is Confucian doctrine. And the spirit of Confucianism must have been creeping in the University for a long time.........

Students gave long applause for the speaker. The moral in Beijing University was shown in that moment.

Why Russia will win?

It’s confused at first. But now the situation is very clear, Russia will win. 

War is not determined by GDP or how much money they have. War is determined by strength. And strength is not necessary money or weapon, but the inner power to use the resources.

Proxy means you pay someone to do something. But the proxy guy is not your own arm nor your inner power. He has got his own mind and his own method, he would take your money, maybe  your external advice, too. But when the counterpart is more determined and can manage inner resources to fight in the war field, he has got a much bigger chance to win. Because he is doing things on his own. He is not relying on the external proxy guy. 

Russia will win the game slowly but steadily.  The fate of history will tell the world whether Biden can last his term or not. As outsiders will see, Biden is also in a proxy situation. He has got a team of people on his back; he is merely a poor proxy actor on stage. Secret bosses are behind the scene. He had been sent to Ukraine at the very beginning and now he was sent to Asia to negotiate the countries.   

Maybe he is lucky to have China as his counterpart. 

Because China is in a proxy situation too. And China is not in a completely stable condition. 

To compare Xi and Mao, you will see China is weakly organized and the spirit is low. The low spirit is shown in their literature, in the Internet, in music……., many people are looking at their own purse more than to serve the people. They have long forgotten how to serve the people, as China has not shown a strong spirit to love and to serve. That meant they will have a much difficult time to face the Taiwan problem. It seems they are undecided in the language issue. How can the Taiwan people love you if you talk like a foreigner?  And use a different writing language?  Do they know how much the people of Taiwan hated the simplified language? 

It will not be a proxy game if troops were sent instead of mind to beat Taiwan. You will lose your own blood. The weakness is clear in the eyes of the whole world. It could be a very bad proxy game if you handle your own spirit through the hands of external people. Proxy in the mind is the rule of failure. 

China is strong in beating the virus, it is not proxy, as the work is clearly seen by all the world. 

But they had put the important spirit issue to the hands of others, and even secret agents from outside.  

Whenever you turn on a mobile, you will see what are the spirits in China. They are keen to work on the 5G, but not on the contents of the internet in the mobile. You saw only low taste in a high-tech device. Cheap philosophies are everywhere. People might not aware that the cheap philosophies were not cheap at all, they were paid secretly in high prices. And it is secretly organized. It is not the same in the older newspaper period, when people were working very hard to prepare the high-quality contents of the newspaper more than the printing qualities.   

China is not in a stable situation but China is in a lucky period when the US is aiming at the Ukraine issue hard. However, The US is actually aiming at China more than Ukraine. They knew that they are going to lose in the Ukraine battle and that is a matter of time. But they will not give up the chance to beat China when China is in a confused situation of mind and spirit. 

China will face a big change if troops were sent before the language issue was settled. 

And the language issue is only a first test of the Chinese spirit. They will have a bad time if the test is failed. 

Spirits are not for proxy compromises. Spirits are the inner fire to stand up on your own. You need to fight hardly to keep it. 

  

Will China be forced to take action?

It is a so-called proxy war in Ukraine. It seemed to be a civilized war. The war had set for itself a limit and the limit should be observed and not be broken. 

It seems some giants are fighting on a cliff. Each one should be careful not be pushed to the cliff edge. 

But I doubt about the wisdom of the fighters. 

They had not been studied carefully enough where is the cliff edge. 

What would the outcome be for the different sides? 

If the US is determined to delete one of the balance powers on this planet, do they know the consequence?

The only winner would be China, if the US did not take any action to delete China, too. It is not because they had forgotten something but that they were doing that secretly. Some people had maintained again and again that they couldn't delete China, but other people do not think so. 

Will the final winner be not China but the US? 

Though they had not studied their own problems within. 

It could not be a really civilized war if the sides are hot-eyed. 

It seems to be easy as it is only proxy and they only need to pay the numbers. And the US is in a situation of no helpers. NATO is a group of people only know how to follow but never consider anything other than orders from their boss. History would sigh for the glorious past of those people. 

If they can think.......

They would know if the conflict is going on like this without drawing back, then they are simply pushing China to take action.

It seems to be unfair for a civilized war if all the powers are for the US and the EU people are pouring gun powders into the fire without stopping and Russia is having no weapons from their friend circle. Doesn't any one find it a little bid absurd? 

Any one with a quiet mind would ponder why. 

Aren't the sides forcing China to step in? 

Maybe China is determined also. Maybe China is very clear about the outcome. And the war won't be a long one as history calculates in hundreds and thousands; though a  few months would change everything to break the silence. 

I hope every one is ready for the broken future.

When I was meditating about  Taiwan Straits, some findings were very uneasy for me though I had found the best solution to capture minds in this matter was to promote Traditional Chinese language which will be welcome by all and settle the minds in Taiwan. 

The uneasy part was the extremely low birth rate of  Taiwan women, which is even lower than Japan.

Some people worried for the Japanese that if birth rate keep going down and can never make up the lost of aged people, then one day Japan will be disappeared from the planet. I personally do not believe such things will happen. The problem of Japan could be a wrong design of their culture. If one day some very smart leader find out the real scenario of their future and understood it might be the result of their language and the language problem had diverted their way of thoughts then Japan maybe saved. 

Japanese language is a completely left-brain-oriented language though they had used Chinese characters a lot. Left-oriented way  of thoughts had brought them to a calculation-minded  thinking when the other side of  brain function is neglected. If future leaders could see deeply into the problem, birth rate problem would be solved.

Several Asian places had recorded very low birth rate in recent years. Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong have less people born and more people left. 

 People prefer to keep pets than to raise babies. You see prams with pets but not babies. There are more pets than children everywhere. People trust their pets more than another human being. 

It is emptiness in soul.

People just lost their motives of life as pets provide a temporary comfort for them. Many deny they need any comfort from pets. They have only appetites, not comforts, not to mention aims in life and motives in a higher angle. 

Materialism came from money culture and worst still, political powers instill cheap philosophies to promote a sense of uncertainty for the young people. Power people say, "There is no after life, there is only this life." ( 有今生無來世 ) Seldom could anyone aware this is to isolate the individual and delete the culture tradition for them. Their souls are taken away. All the history and the country are worthless if only one single life is real.  This is the reason for selfishness and reason why people cannot love and cannot have their children and ancestors to be proud of. 

This is a serious pollution of mind. 

Lonely minds were from a polluted culture. There were modern Ah Qs. The age old feudalism is still functioning in a modern mind. Feudalism is the origin of selfishness and when dirty thoughts were wrapped up in colorful decorations, young people were lost. 

How can they have babies when they cannot see tomorrow?

When their love ones are the ones that cannot be trusted, as everything is based on money, how can they feel safe to look ahead? They would say I love you today, and by tomorrow they say that word to another. 

People felt deserted.

And the only safety is in money, and money is never enough to keep oneself safe. 

People cannot see life in terms of culture, and they have no sense of history. It is funny to think about future. They do not know what is the aim to work for. 

And this is the real scenario in Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Japan is the most serious case, the others are  just catching up. 

And from this point we could see  Taiwan Straits issue and Hong Kong issue are extremely important, as they are parts of China and China is considered a home of souls for us. 

The world today is divided into two extremes. One being materialism in the West and the other is in China which is a new country with a long and bright past to be valued though parts of the culture are polluted by feudalism. 

The spirit of China is a hope for us all.

The US will not be happy if there is no war in the Taiwan Straits. 

But the point is not here. 

The point is how big will the opposition force in and outside China if the Taiwan Issue is settled. 

The question is how big an effort will be in force to push China into a costly huge war. 

Because if a peaceful solution is found, then a successful outcome will be settled, and there is no chance for the powers in and outside of China to hinder China. 

To promote Traditional Chinese in China is no easy task, because the opposition powers will be huge.  There will be strange opinions  and all kinds of curious events to prevent Chinese people using Traditional Chinese. 

Because that would not be an issue for the Straits only. Using Traditional Chinese means to have a more powerful tool for thoughts. Economy and Science progress will be flying in a short time.  Young people will be much smarter and wise. History will have a sharp turn. China will be going upward quickly.  

Years ago the People's Daily had published a Traditional Chinese version for oversea editions, and it was blown up in an extremely short time. Some Singapore Government people wrote a letter to the People's Daily and the plan is dead.

Some people just will not be happy if the Taiwan Issue is settled easily. They want Taiwan be separated from China forever. 

And the internal opposition will be a major part in the Issue. 

Will it be difficult to "learn" the Traditional Chinese for the younger people? 

Definitely not. 

The most difficult part is to make people realize how important the issue is for the history of China in the long run and the Taiwan Issue is but a short term difficulty. 

Learning a few difficult words is never a problem. The problem is in the opposition. 

The US and their representatives inside China will not be happy to see a strong and powerful China united together in their mother language.

I pleaded to the editor in Ming Pao in 1992, to print my column vertical. he promised. I was so happy to read my article in vertical. However, the vertical column was gone the next day. He told me that was only impossible. I believe that was from the order of his boss. Maybe he was blamed for his kindness.  All the newspapers were in horizontal printing by that time. You will not see one single vertical column in the papers. It seemed to be a strict secret order from somewhere. It was terrible. Not one single newspaper dared not to follow this secret order.

There is a method to settle the Taiwan Issue. China needs not to use blood to do that.  

It needs not to lose blood, and money too.  

Whenever bribery was involved,  bad result could not be avoided that it needs to trust and rely on greedy people.   

Blood and money are not needed to settle the Taiwan Issue. 

China needs only to use their own blood --- blood flowing inside their own brain. They need only to use this blood to think.  

Taiwan Issue is a mind issue. The minds need to be captured. 

In the case of Taiwan, to capture the mind is in two steps. 

The first step is to solve the language problem. The next step is to solve the spirit problem. 

We shall study the language problem here. And we will discuss the spirit problem later. 

If the language problem is settled, a lot of the Taiwan Issue is done.     

Only one job needs to do:  that is -   

"To promote the use of Traditional written Chinese."

It is not necessary to give up the use of Simplified Chinese at the same time, however, an  intention to promote the Traditional Chinese,  is ready to capture Taiwan minds. They will willingly be captured.  The minds are not only at your side, they love you.  How can you make people love you? That is the most difficult part. When a complete communication ground of culture is set up, there will be no barrier between the two. You have the same language now .  

And the first people to be benefited is the mainlanders themselves.

As the Chinese is easier to read in traditional form of writing. The "message amount"(訊息量) in each word is more than the  Simplified Chinese. It is much richer and it is beautiful. It is much faster to read in the Tradition Chinese.   People will love to read more. the Chinese people will be wiser and smarter, and the total growth will be much faster.  

Taiwan people will love the mainland people not only that they can be benefited from the affluence of China, but that they will have the feeling that they were actually brothers and sisters and were sharing the same language and same spirit. 

There will not be a concept of "conquerer" and "surrenderor". They will be happy to come to the Chinese side.  

And the basic part of the language plan is to arrange the Traditional Chinese vertically. It is important. The original Chinese was designed in a vertical form, each word is arranged from up till down, and the columns will help the eye and brain to create concepts quickly.

Vertical is more natural in Chinese. 

Inserts of foreign languages are optional but to follow the foreign way of  horizontal editing will create  a  lost in the Chinese language.  The horizontal format in computers and mobiles are a little problem, but it won't be too difficult to modified them. And it needs not be a fixed rule for all publications. Science and mathematic studies need horizontal printing. 

Chinese is a fast language. It is the fastest language in the whole world. With the design of a traditional form of writing and vertical columns,  images will be much easier and faster to show in the mind. That is important for a good thinking process. 

Simplied form of Chinese  reduced the reading speed, and thus the thinking power, however, they are still the fastest language in the whole world. It is because, Chinese is the only language activated from the right sphere of the brain. 

Now both sides from the Strait will share the advantage of the language. Sharing the language is sharing the mind. It is a good start for the two sides.

 　 如果真理不是在人類手上，那麼，我們每天那樣的努力，為的是甚麼呢？人類追求的是甚麼呢？

 　 如果考問李察，李察的答卷會是：追求的是一種「暫時真理」。真的、終極的真理，是在宇宙主宰手上的。以人類的力量，大約只可能得到臨時性質的了解。 　 　　

      我們引以為自豪的甚麼牛頓力學、愛因斯坦原理、或者中國人的內在理論，都只是這一類的臨時真理，可以暫時應用，但不可能永久堅持。因為，人類的了解，無法超脫於人類的六識認知。 　 　　

       只有一種超脫的可能：當人類能夠跟宇宙主宰徹底溝通，當人類真正得到了那種天地萬物與我為一的了解，就能徹底明白，真正超脫。

A note from the writer: 

I  had finished writing the article several days ago. But I was reluctant to release it as it is in the height of a conflict in Ukraine, few would have the patience to read something not concerned. 

And then I have a second thought. What we are discussing here is some thing about "level". It is an important subject in the art of war. If people can go up one level, they must be simply like watching the gold fish in a fish bowl. They could see more clearly than the fish.......

I heard the following story from a mobile:  

Someone had used a simple method to explain the theory of genocide. 

He invented a story that there were four people on the end of a rail track and a rail cart was running toward the four. However, he had found a fat guy was on the side of the rail track.  His question was whether he should push the fat guy to the rail to stop the running cart and save the four. He said it was  a moral matter to decide whether to push the fat guy is justified or not. 

He invented another story that if you are a surgeon and there were four people in the clinic waiting for organ transplant. One of them need to change a lung, the next to change a liver,  the third needs heart, the fourth a pancreas. You just had no organ donation and you didn’t know what to do. 

It was at this moment another guy came in your clinic; he was healthy. Should you use the organs from this guy to save the other four? 

He said genocide is not justified even using one life to exchange four. 

“Should you push the fat guy?” He asked the audience. 

From the response of the audience I knew he must be well-trained. And it was broadcasted during the height of the Ukrain-Russian conflict, when the United Stated president is accusing the Russian "genocide". Maybe he wanted to let the audience know more about "genocide".

A thought came to my mind. 

If the speaker was Buddha, he would never thought of pushing the fat guy into the rail, and he would have never thought about the guy is fat or not; but instead he would have jumped into the rail himself to save the four. 

Actually it was a famous Buddha story.

When Buddha was a king, a pigeon suddenly flew into his feet trembling for help and a fierce eagle was at the door step wanted to grab the pigeon. 

Buddha stopped the fierce eagle, “I will give you some food from my kitchen and please let go the pigeon”.  

But the eagle refused. He wants only the meat of the pigeon. 

Buddha said, “Ok, then I will give you some of my own meat.” He took over a sword and cut a piece of meat from his own thigh. But the eagle was angry when he saw the piece of meat. The eagle said, “ your meat is too small, not enough to trade for a pigeon. “

Then the Buddha King ordered his servant to prepare a scale, putting the pigeon on one side and his meat on the other side of the scale. His meat seemed to be not heavy enough to balance with the pigeon. 

Then Buddha cut another piece, and another piece, until he had cut himself all blood strained and the weight was still not enough. 

I dare not to say he was wrong. He was kind- hearted and noble. His mind of love is to be admired. He didn’t hurt anyone else to save the pigeon. 

However, it needs to raise up one level to ponder about the problem. Using a simple arithmetic calculation like 

        5 -1 = 4

cannot solve the problem.

An upper  "level" inspection can lead us into a deeper thought. 

How can the four people be saved? 

May be there was a reason of their sickness. 

What is the problem and how do we solve the problem?

Can you tell all the eagles or tigers or lions be  kind  eating only vegetables? It must be a real genocide this way as you would kill all of them. 

We need to go up higher to inspect the problem. 

All were like gold fish inside the fish bowl. You simply need to get out and look back, and you will see how were the fish swimming. 

Now we have only three fish here. 

From your eye they were but fish, but others thought they were giants. 

The Western Giant seemed to be in a suicidal mind trying to kill the other two. It is suicidal and he didn't know it. 

How are you going to tell those fish or giants not to fight against each other because it is suicidal?  How can you stop them? 

With a thought like this, now you can jump. 

You can go back to the fish bowl because you were still a fish not an outsider. Though your vision is more clearly than before. 

How would you tell the other fish the actual situation? 

It is absolutely not easy. 

And let us get back to Buddha on the sword, or Jesus on the cross to look upon them. 

They were on the air and we were swimming fish. 

They must have seen some thing. There must be some very extra-ordinary things happened in their mind by that moment. 

They must be inspired. 

They saw what we didn't. 

And now the task is still waiting. How would you treat a suicidal patient? Would you like to kill him or heal him? Or be killed by him? It must be the greatest problem since we were born. 

Don't tell me whether you are Western, Eastern or Northern. There were other problems other than suicidal for us.

We need to fly into the air one more time to look back.

Chairman Mao would have lived longer if he was not swimming. I thought he might have ten more years before he dies. 

It was because swimming is a situation that could bring away Qi from the body. 

What is Qi? 

Qi is some kind of flowing inside and outside our body. Studies were still in the early stage, but we can watch it with our own experience. 

It is certain that each one would have a certain among of Qi in his body. The Qi is always flowing. An experienced Qi master can bring the Qi from one part of his body to another part. 

If I was sprained in my angle, I could move some Qi to heal it. 

Because the cells need Qi.  Qi can fix the wounded cells. 

It was a founding from my own experience. 

During my many years of Qi practice, though I am still a beginner, I have found Qi can be stagnant sometimes. It would stay in one place and make me feel uncomfortable and sick. 

It was by this time, to release the extra Qi is necessary.  

If Qi was staying in the head in an excessive form, one would have insomnia and many problems.

How to release Qi from the head?  There were many methods. Message, arm swinging, combing hair, or even bending down to touch the earth with the head can help. 

I use water sometimes.  

Stand straight under the shower and let the water run through the head and body can help to release Qi. 

And I went to swim. 

Swimming is helpful in reducing Qi from the body. 

It stirred my thought.  

Why I need to eat more after swimming? And why I cannot reduce weight even I swim a lot? 

It was because, swimming had reduced my Qi. For the younger swimmer, it might be good practice as the recovering can help the swimmer build up the body. But for the older people, recovering is not easy and have to resort to sleeping more and eating more to replenish the Qi. It would be harmful for older people in the long run. Because the total among of Qi would be less and life energy is reduced. 

Qi is one of the most important elements in the body other than blood. 

Qi is helpful in thinking. 

How can the thoughts flow? Does it need energy? The answer is yes. Qi can help. Energy must be coming from different sources, blood and electricity are important, and some of the chemical substance also. Qi is simply another element. That was the common understanding of the poets in history. To write fluently you need Qi. To write dryly is the result of Qi lost. 

Thinking too much is bad for sleeping. But it is not easy to stop thinking when you have to manage too many things in the day. One method is to write down the thoughts before sleep. It needs not a complete work of an article, but if you can jot down some of the points, or simply list out questions, you would find the thoughts would be tidy up and new finding would appear in the next morning. 

When you have written down the thoughts, you can have a good sleeping. Because by this time,  Qi is already released.  

It is a time of curiosity lost. Seldom do people found it interesting to study Qi. However, Qi must be another important element in composing the planet. 

Qi must be flowing beneath our earth. 

And Qi is related. 

Qi is related between couples, relatives, friends, and even strangers.  

Qi is a related energy for the whole population. 

If the total population is happy, extraordinary things could happen. 

The feeling would be echoed by the total Qi under our feet.   I have an imagination that even the color of the water would change, like the Yellow river. The Yellow river had been changing from yellow to green. There must be a reason of it, imagination cannot stop me from thinking it is related to the feeling of the total population.  

It was not only my own imagination. It was from Wen Tian Xiang. He wrote in his poem: “The song of the positive Qi”  

“There is a positive Qi in the Universe. The Qi is in many forms, bestowed on all ever-changing subjects.  Qi is rivers and mountains below and stars and sun above……”
