人類在努力些甚麼？(二之二）

人類的努力，大約有兩個方面。第一是要找尋光。
找尋到了光，人類就可能知道兩件事情：
第一，宇宙是甚麼。第二，人是甚麼。只有徹底
明白了這兩件事，人類才可能真正知道自己活著的意
義。
但是，這兩大問題，在人類目前的條件看，是不
可能直接了解的。所謂 TOE (Theory of
Everything)，到二十一世紀，仍是科學家們可望而
不可即的夢想。
但幸運是我們有了parable。幸運是我們有了一
種間接的方法，寓言式的方法，可能猜想得到，宇宙
是甚麼。
這同樣是可以從《新約》中找到暗示的。
What is the kingdom of God like? ………… It is
like a mustard seed.
………… the seed sprouts and grows.
………… the soil produces of itself, first the
blade, then the ear, then the full gain in the ear.
And when it is ripe for harvesting they take the
sickle for the cutting: the time for harvest has
come. (Mark 4:26-34)
到底，這話是甚麼意思呢？宇宙是甚麼？宇宙就
是生命。宇宙是像一棵芥子那樣生長的生命。而這生
命，是可能帶來成果的。
人是甚麼？這問題，也就在其中了。人的努力，
就是要努力參與，就是要付出勞動，共同收穫！
