And it is possible.

If we put life into a higher observing point,  we can see life is a chain of unending line that the line is composed by  numerous lives.   And you can also put it this way:  "If you are Sun Wu Kong and you will not die, then what are you going to do?"

It is interesting.

If everybody will not die,   what are they going to do?

And the question might put it this way:

What is the purpose of human beings?

What is the purpose of my own life?

What is the purpose of me ?

What is the purpose of me...... and my friends?

It is important.

Because if you have a purpose,  you will work for it.

If you do not have a purpose,   still you will be going for it.   Because you are being pushed(?)

Journey to the West begins with a very basic question. The question is: "Life is short. What should we do?"

But, the words in the book would not be written like this. Because, this book is for people of different levels. The general public reads stories.  But friends will see great meanings.

From the story, Sun Wukong just thought that life is short and very short.

He suddenly felt a sense of sadness, and then: He started a pursuit that goes through the whole planet. And the so-called "the whole planet" :  There are actually four continents: East Victory holy land, West Niu He Chau,  South Jim Zhou, and North Qiluzhou. These four major provinces are Buddhist terms, the author of the book borrowed them.

What does Sun Wukong wants to pursue?  The book says that what he wants to pursue is "Long life". Anyway, the author has given Sun Wukong a reason to search.

What does Sun Wukong pursue? Is it really "eternal life"? The author is worring if we don't know that he had already been answered  in the book. The story says that actually:  Sun Wu kong

(The Emptiness Awared One) has already obtained longevity. He has already gone to hell, And he had corrected the "Book of life and death".  His name was deleted by himself.  He not only deleted his own name, but also all his monkey friends.....

In the hell's roster, there is no name for him. He has already transcended the life circle, he doesn't need to queue up to die.

This means that he has already obtained "eternal life". And he has already obtained the "long life" for his followers, they have all been given a lifetime. 

At that time, he had not yet known Monk Tong(唐僧), nor had he yet known his job is to explore the West, but he has been granted a "eternal life".

What else does he want to pursue, if he has been granted to live forever?

And we, if we have the same confidence that we humans are super and we are all immortal, what else should we pursue?

How much time should take to think about it?

　　《西遊記》是從一個很基本的問題開始的。這問

題就是：「人生苦短，我們應該做甚麼？」

　　但是，書中的文字，是不會這樣寫的。因為，這

本書，是給不同程度的人看的。一般人看的是故事，

但喜歡思考的朋友，卻會看到其中的微言大義。

　

　　從故事看，孫悟空只不過是想到，人生苦短，很

快就要輪迴轉生，他忽然感覺悲哀起來，於是，就開

始了一個走遍全個地球的追尋。而所謂「全個地球」，

在書中其實是四大洲：東勝神洲，西牛賀洲，南贍部

洲，北俱蘆洲。這四大部洲是佛教名詞，被《西遊記》

的作者借用了。

　

　　孫悟空想追尋甚麼呢？書中說，他想追尋的是「長

生」。而喜歡看神怪故事的小朋友，也全不當這是一

回事了，總之，作者已經給了孫悟空一個理由：一個

終生努力不懈去追求的理由。

　　

　　孫悟空追求的，當真是「長生」麼？作者怕我們

不了解，早早已經在書中解答了。故事說，其實孫悟

空一早已經得到長生。他已經到過地獄，把生死簿中

自己的名字塗去了。他不但塗去自己的名字，還把所

有他認識的猴子朋友，名字都塗去了。

　

　　地獄名冊中，是沒有他的名字的。他已經超脫輪

迴了，他不用排隊送死了。

　　這就是說，他一早已經得到了「長生」。連帶所

有他的追隨者們，都已經得到了「長生」。如果讀書

的朋友聯想力再豐富一些，你可以這樣說的：任何投

入去看《西遊記》的朋友，都已經在事實上得到了「長

生」。而孫悟空遊地獄的情節，是在往西天之前的。

其時，他尚未認識唐僧，尚未知道需要去西方探索，

但是，他已經得到長生了。

　

　　他還要追求甚麼呢？

　　

　　而我們，如果我們也有這樣的信心：我們都是超

脫輪迴的，我們都是永生的，我們還要追求甚麼？

　　這一個問題，應該花多少時間去想想？一分鐘，

The significance of Qi is in the approach.  It is another direction to see the world,   to see how we humans are composed.   It is  more than the composition of a set of parts,  but it is a life,  and life is a whole, not a computer of chips.

We might need another hundred years to understand how life is a whole but not stitched up organs.

The Western knife is a good tool to separate things.  You can always cut it open to see.   But there might be other approach to feel it.

The debates can be going on and on about which way is better.  However  sometimes  you need only to try and feel it.

Qi is not electricity.   And it might be more than the term of "energy" we usually use.

Qi is not life itself,  but its very close to the concept of life.

Maybe the best part is about the usage.   Because Qi can strengthen your life force.

Is it just like a cup of coffee?

Yes, the feeling is strengthening,  but it is an inner feeling, not external stimulation.

This approach is important.   Because it can show the reality of life for us.

It is completely not the same as the luxury and entertainments which can give a temporary release of pressures of life.

Because it is like a spirit.  And its real.

When you have felt the Qi approaching,  you are raised.

You'll be much smarter than before.

It's my temporary understanding about Qi.   If I can find the external use of Qi,  I will tell you.

I think Qi might be the same as life.   Your life is internal.   Your life is always within you.   It is the same as your soul and your spirit.   They are all internal.   They are all yours.   You can share your wealth,   but you cannot share your life.   You can only dedicate your life.  

Qi is yours.  Qi is within.

You can produce Qi,  when you need it to help.

You can sing a song,  but no other person can sing the same as your voice.

It is forever yours.

Same is your deeds.   Same is your life. 

What is the meaning?

You can only learn it, but you cannot buy it.

What if I am sick and a Qi teacher gives me some of his Qi and heals me?

The teacher may induce your own Qi.  But I am not sure whether he can give you his Qi:   Its my personal observation.  

One of the most important point about Qi:

You can use your own imagination to move the Qi around your body, if you know the  Meridian maps.…

For  a serious minded person,  it could be a trap for him to waste his life time to search.

If he can beat  the natural law to release qi like  electricity,  all humans will have a better life.

How to move your "qi"?

"Qi"  is everywhere around the human body. I thought "qi" is an energy,  it is this unseen energy supporting all functions in your body.

It is the digestion, it is the blood movement, it is the  nerve communication.....

some of the qi can be controlled by one's "will" but not all.

I thought all movement of the human body is supported by qi.  And if the qi is willfully strengthened,  it helps in many way.

You can run faster, or sing better, or write better with qi. Because you can always use your will to control qi.

You will not die easily if your qi is supported by your will.   Even really sick person,   if he has a will to support himself,  he can last longer.

If someone says:  " I'm not going to die because I need to support my child."   His will is very helpful in supporting his life.

The relation between "will" and "qi" is always seen in special moments.

Interesting is whether the qi can use indirectly. 

Can a doctor heal a patient with qi from a distance?  It might need more honest study to prove it.  But it is very helpful to heal minor sufferings with massage in qi.

Can qi heal a very sich person or fatally wounded person?  I hope future science can show more.

My question is how to move your qi.

Qi can be moved along the Meridian points.

If you are familiar with the  Meridian map in your body,  and follow the routes with a hand to guide it,  qi would follow.  There is no secret,  any serious  practitioner can try and prove its effect in healing.

Actually, the more important thing is about the mind.  Future mind will determine the future of human beings.

Will future peoples thinking the same as we think?

Their mind will be more advanced.

I think wars will happen again and again. But I believe wars will be less and less in the future.   Maybe one day there will be no war at all.  It means the gap between the rich and the poor will be smaller,  its so small that it needs not any war to settle it.

The most important factor to stop us from improving is selfishness.

It meant all Chinese people is united. It meant China is completely united as one. But the meaning is more psychological than practical.  Because the Chinese government is acting as a completely self-controled center already.

The question is what will happen afterwards?

The governance within China is no problem.   The question is:  how would China deal with the world afterwards?  Will there be any thing new?

Geographical or political wars are limited in the future.   There will not be a 3rd world war as expected.  Though regional conflicts will not be stopped.

For China, the most dangerous war is mind-war.   It won't be happening in other places with a strong religious tradition.   China is extremely weak in mind matters.   Chinese mind is not only weak,  but weak in many spheres.   It was due to the long time Confucius influences.   The Chinese mind was not strong enough, if not shattered.   There is no leading point  in the Chinese mind.    Leadership in the mind business is not a concern.

And this is only comparative.   It doesn't mean the Western mind is strong.  Religious faith in the West is broken long ago. What is left is only materialistic influence with a very weak faith of love. This is the basics of a future mind-war.

The future mind-war  will be serious and influential.  It is not easy to know how it will be developed.   In the case of a complete victory of the negative sided mind-war,   the country will be completely ruined like another opium war.

Will it be so easy and will it be exaggerating about the mind forces?

Yes, the material trend is not to be neglected  absolutely.   The so called "money"  is a magic.   It is much more stronger than opium.  People will be alerted in the cases of drugs.   But the material trend under the disguise of smile is much more dangerous.

What I have mentioned is only a term.  "Mind-war" has not been seriously dealt with.  People are too busy handling all sorts of important matters.

It is not easy to make up the mind to build a stronger mind to fight the devils. Here is one pretext existing to stop people from working on the mind.

No one is to stay forever. I think the human chain is a chain of thoughts,  or a chain of spiritual achievements.   Theoretically, everyone has a part in this achievement.   Can you say someone is achieving more and someone is achieving less?

That is really a puzzle for all.   No one will be happy if he is busy calculating how much he has gained and how much he has kept.

The first important thing is to forget.

There needs not to have a mileage meter in your mind.  You just keep going and that's all.

If you do have a goal in your life, that's fine. But it is necessarily your own goal.  And it is meaningless to find out the meaning in it.

Yes, I am a king in my own kingdom.  It is the same as the snail is a king in his naildom.   So long if he can keep his shell.

I was a very naughty boy when I was young.   I have tried to pull out the snail from its shell......   When I am older,  I will advise young people not to do that,  and I am sure no one will listen.

The term "searching" was used by some later  intellectuals.   They thought they are searching for something.   It might not be the mind in the early humans.  Then what are we humans for?   I think it is still a highest secret for us all.

What are we living for?  What is our purpose?

A thought occurred to me:

We are not even searching for happiness.

Happiness is only a modern term. A baby will not know what is happiness. A baby has only some basic necessities in life. A baby will not know what he is living for. And so are we. It is exactly the same as a tree on the roadside. The tree will not know what he is living for. But he is working hard to gain water, sunshine and to live on.   It is an urge given to him. It is by born.  It is not asquired.

Therefore it is only a faith.

A faith is not necessarily religious. It might only be a temporary thought.  You think you are living for something.   And you can also think that you are not living for something.

Then what are you living for?

You can determine your own way of living.

You can only say it.

And it is yours,  it will be yours.

If humans want to live for a certain goal or purpose in life,   they are free to do it.

It means you are free.

And you can always ask:   What do I have?  Where am I going?

It is very basic.

We have a term for it:

It is the beginning of consciousness.

And it is only the beginning.

Because it is only in the minds of a few.

Very few people have it.

And the worst case is:   People do not share what they have in their thoughts.  They thought they are the higher class and they are not willing to share it with other people. They think they knew it, but they are not sharing with you.

What is the happiest moment in my life?

However, it needs to know the difference between the real happiness and not real happiness.

No one can define for you what is real happiness.  Only you can know it.

When I was a little kid, I was in a poor family.   We need to struggle for the food for tomorrow almost everyday.   By the time my father was working far away in Hong Kong and I was in Macao,   living with my grandma,  because my mother was dead already.

One day when I was clearing the old stuff in my living place, that was a dark room without window, I found a hundred dollar note suddenly.  I was so happy it seems all problems of our family was gone. It was never in my life to see a bank note in such an amount. I sat down to take a paper to write immediately to my father,  telling him the sudden wealth and was extremely happy that our fate of poverty had ended.  Soon  I got a reply from my father, he told me that was the money when every thing was in a chaos when my mother was serious sick by then.  And he told me how to handle the money and how to use it for the coming days.

Can money be a real source of happiness?

I think it can be judged by those who have it.

Material need is on the first level in your life.  There are so many levels on top of it.   Any one can try them one by one.   From the basic level of survival money to the higher level to your fame and achievement.   And there will be more levels above your achievement.   Until one day you find it is not enough still.   You are still searching for an unknown happiness ahead of you.

And it is a long way without end. 

It is important to have a goal ahead of you without end....... It will be a tragic moment if you find it is really the end.  In the long long time of your life, you will learn where to search for your real goal.

And it will not be your "safe lodging"(歸宿).   

It is the difference of the Chinese culture and the West.   But a safe lodging concept is not enough.   It is for the self and only for the self.   A more happy moment is in the dedication of one's effort.

Because the dedication is real.  The dedication is for everyone.   Your true happiness will be there forever.

And happiness can be given away.   When you try to make other people happy,  forgetting about your own situation........you will have it.

I just finished watching a video speech by an AI expert in an American university.   he seems to be a Chinese in blood, but he is totally American.

He was excited about the AI development in the States. He encouraged his students to keep on  AI study.  It is understandable.

But it seems to be a complete dominance in the brains of the American intellectuals:   There is nothing else except technology.

They will not care anything outside the sphere of  their eyesight.

It is all because of the AI can push American economy.    The real meaning is that:  It's all about money.

No one can neglect AI.   It is the backbone of modern economy.   But a bone cannot support your whole life.    You need to have a heart and many things else.   It is utterly meaningless to fight with skeletons  in a heartless world of deserts.

But you need to do that anyway,  if the heartless trend is going on like this,  planes, submarines and tanks will be in your door steps.

It needs to be a truly human to stand against all that.

Almost none of the productions in the past few decades can reach the height of the original version of the Swan Lake. The only best version was a performance by Anthony Dowell and Natalia Makarova. You can view it from YouTube: “Swan Lake Makarova Dowell”.

The story is simple, yet few can understand. 

The Princess was bewitched by the Devil, turning her into a slave swan. The Prince wanted to shoot the Devil to save the Princess, however, the Princess used her body to stop the shooting. She told him that if the Devil is dead then the spell will never be broken, and she would remain a slave swan forever. The spell is that the Princess must find a true love. If she can find one, then the spell will be broken. 

Almost none of the productions in the long years can understand this point. They thought it is easy to break the spell. They would stage a scene to let the Prince fight with the Devil and it happened in almost all the productions that it is easy for the Prince to kill the devil with his external muscle. 

They do not know what is true love. 

In the original version, the Princess finally jumped into the cliff and the Prince followed immediately. It was in this moment the mind of the two was shown and the Devil felt to his final death on the stage floor, as the spell is finally broken. May be the jumping is not acceptable to many and they cannot find another scenario to show what is true love. And it is very strange once they cannot know what is true love, the whole production would become tasteless and the other dances and music in the production would be mediocre. 

The question is can you kill the devils by putting them into jail?

And it is not easy to “educate” the new generation about what is true love.

Many cannot even “love” anyone in this material world. They know only to “own” someone and chase after material life.

However, we have found that the scenario is changing. 

Humans are changing in the human evolution.

Humans are changing from a state of self-interest to a state of mutual cooperation.

What is “True Love” then?

Russia is the only country which covers the East and the West.

Russia is an Eastern country, yet it is also a Western country.

And Russia is important in culture.

To make it simple, we can put it in another way:

Languages are only the first issues of the brain function.   Because we are not thinking in languages only.

It could be more easy if we use only languages to think.

A writer is always hungry.   He is hungry about everything. He takes in lots of materials,  and then he examines his material and cooks them.   When he finished cooking he will produce the material like an art work.  

The most dangerous moment is when he is satisfied with his own work.  

When he is happy with his work, he will not produce anything more,  or anything new.

The American writer Ernest Hemingway died this way.   He used a double-barrel shotgun to shoot at his own mouth.   His wife was in the second floor when she came down for the huge sound, she found his head was blown away with a headless body on the floor of blood.

Ernest Hemingway was famous for his strong character.   He likes to write about how he fight.

I always remember his work: "Old man and the sea".

This kind of situation cannot be counted by any kind of  mathematical method.

You cannot calculate the size of the universe and calculate the size of your body and make a comparison.

The proportion scale  seems to be unlimited and it is meaningless.

Yet we ought to know how small we are.

This afternoon when I was eating a mouthful of chicken meat,  the thought occurred to me suddenly. 

I used to eat chicken meat like this:  I will take away the fried skin and eat only the inner content of the plain chicken meat.   It was completely tasteless.  It was only meat and protein.  Maybe the taste was only in the external fried skin. 

What does it like to eat this chicken meat?   It is not like a mouthful of flour.   It is nothing but chewing. 

You are chewing not meat but a kind of soft plastic.

It was lucky I have a glass of coke with me.   I just washed down the meat with the coke.  Just like flushing it away.

I thought I hate to eat like this.   But it is never an issue in my life.  I am not particularly keen on eating.   It is ok if I can finish it.

But your life will never be tasteless like this.

Why suffering seems unavoidable sometimes?

 I was trying to write something, when I marked the date "May 13" on my screen.

Actually, before I tried to write anything, my mind was uneasy and disturbed.

Old tragic family sufferings kept coming back to my memory before I marked the date on my script.

My mother had an early death on that day.   I was eleven and she was fifty years old when she died.

And I was under the care of my grandmother since.

I was a bad boy by then. 

My school kicked me out when I was 13.   I did all the bad things in the eyes of the teachers by then. They didn't want me anymore and then they threw me away.

I managed to find another school thanks to the bad  economy situation when schools only need you to pay school fees.  I had a place luckily in another school.  And then I determined to make up my studies and behave myself.

It was like a nightmare gradually fading away.

But my question appeared:

Why sufferings are unavoidable for some people but not all?

Suffering was a blessing too.

If I have never suffered,   I will not have made up my mind.   Maybe I'll be the same as any other office workers working on the high-rising buildings in Hong Kong.  I will not see the scenery differently.

Sufferings are good to me.

I suffered more than ever afterwards.

It was from the oppressions of the underground secret party in China and Hong Kong.

It seems they have a power to put different people in different positions.   They have a secret network trying to control China.  They have tried to kill me many times.  If I were silenced,  maybe their secret  control will be more smooth.

All I can believe is that China will be still rising.  The rise of a modern China is a historical trend. Some people might die for it, but it cannot stop the rising movement of a culture, even with the huge opposition power from an undeground, and foreign controlled party.

The sun will be rising every day, still.

Questions are good.

Life will be tasteless if there is no question.

It needs to quest always.  

Life will be like animal without question.

When you have a question, you have an aim.

If you don't have question, you need to follow.

To be a follower is tasteless.

I don't mean you need to be a leader.

But you need to lead your own life.

Life will be more interesting with question.

People with too many questions are always unwelcome.

This is where the puzzles are.

Sometimes you can keep the questions in your mind, but not as a challenge to others. 

If you want to ask question,  ask yourself first.

External help is not very helpful always.

There are lots of answering machines in this world.

Do not rely on them.

Rely on yourself.

Rely on your own intelligence.

Keep your own Intelligence as your most precious wealth.

Nothing belongs to you except your own intelligence.

Keep it and use it.

Do not ask what do you want?

Ask what can I help you?

Ask what can I do my best for you?

You can win a friend this way.

You will know the situation faster.
