How to Elevate a Country’s Wisdom?

Wisdom can only be elevated in a long term prospect.  For a short term or even emergent need,  only knowledge and technology are possible.

And the dilemma is:  without the support of a higher wisdom,  knowlwdge and technology are useless.

Can the wisdom be elevated overnight in an urgent time?

The answer is yes, but it needs determination.

A  student monk pleaded with tears to monk Bodhidharma how he could increase wisdom. The story said the student monk obtained wisdom almost instantly for his determination.

I doubted whether it is possible....because it did not tell how it could be done to change completly the thinking processs of a common youth.

It needs years of education and culture backup,  perhaps.

However,  wisdom is important when you need to make decision.

The clue was not mentioned by the monk:

The need is a selfless approach..... if you are prepared to dedicate your whole life and more than one arm for it,  you can go ahead.

But the question is not for individuals.  It is the problem of a whole nation or even the whole world:

"How to Elevate a Country’s Wisdom?"

However,  it can be started from the determination of a single person in a single country.

 That is the reason why there is hope for this whole world.

The story goes like this.....

A young monk approached Master Bodhidharma and asked how he could increase his wisdom. Bodhidharma did not respond. To demonstrate his sincerity, the young monk cut off his arm and offered it to Bodhidharma. Still, Bodhidharma remained unmoved. He simply asked, "What do you want to learn?" The young monk replied, "I wish to learn how to settle my mind." Bodhidharma said, "Is your mind not already here?" The young monk reflected deeply, and suddenly everything became clear to him.

It needs wisdom internationally.  For example,  is it the right time to start a Gaza war,  Ukrain war or Taiwan war?

It needs calculation when people were starting the world wars,  yet calculation is not enough.  It needs wisdom to think.
