What is the observable qualities of Qi?
Qi is flowing.
Its not known whether Qi can flow outside human bodies, or between human bodies, but it is sure circulating within the body.
And you can guide the Qi to strengthen your spirit.
One important quality about Qi is that it can be easily guided by imagination. And anyone could do it.
You tell it go and it goes.
The following is my experience:
First, imagine that the Qi is concentrated in your Dantian, or Stomach if you like. You can imagine one flow of Qi emerging from your Dantian, exiting through the Anus then upward passing in front of your front body, going through your navel, then through your throat to your lower lip and teeth.
Then, imagine another flow of Qi, moving from your Dantian, exits from Anus, toward the back of your body, passing through your back, the back of your neck, the top of your head, your forehead, the tip of your nose, and reached your upper lip and teeth.
These two flows of Qi—one in front and one behind—are best when they occur simultaneously, not sequentially. Then, the two flows meet in your mouth, mainly where your teeth meet. If you click your teeth, these two flows of Qi connect. Of course, you shouldn’t just click your teeth once or twice; you need to do it continuously, guiding the Qi from your teeth to your head.
Then you can guide the Qi upward, passing through your eyes, rotating around your head, down your neck, back into your torso. Then, it moves into your waist and abdomen, pauses slightly in your Dantian, and then exits, passing through your thighs, calves, and soles of your feet, entering the ground and leaving.
What has been described might seem like something only a master who has practiced for years can do, but actually it’s not. The most wonderful aspect of the human body’s design is that: Qi can be moved using imagination. When you think it, the Qi will move accordingly.
What is the use of moving the Qi like this?
It raises, it stimulates, it heals.
You'll be refreshed.
Because it connects Rèn Mài 任脈 and Dū Mài 督脈 through clicking teeth. And it is not in ordinary medicine books. It is found by my own personal experience.
*任脈 (Rèn Mài) is translated as Conception Vessel or Ren Mai.
督脈 (Dū Mài) is translated as Governing Vessel or Du Mai.
These are two extraordinary meridians.

A Ten-step Exercise
1+2 Front Qi and back Qi moves upwards at the same time.
3. Clicking teeth where the two Qi meet. Then the Qi enters the head through mouth.
4 Qi goes upwards. passing through the eyes
5 Qi turns around head and going down.
6-9 Qi going downward
10 Qi exits to the ground
The above is a Ten-step exercise I do every day.
Important is in the no.3
and no.4 steps.
It is where the Qi connects and enters.
And it is very interesting that when you move the Qi with your imagination, it seems nothing happened. You will not be trembling or shaking like in the movies.(Trembling is another stage of Qi pratice) Now the Qi will be flowing without your notice. The only difference is that you'll be refreshed. Even through a hard working day and you are tired, you will find a fresh spirit after only one round of your Qi movement.
