Why Chinese is a one-step language?

  

There's only one step between the "shape" and the "catch".

You saw the shape and you caught the meaning.

For example, I'll give you one shape here:

舞

And then I'll tell you that the meaning of this shape is "dance"

Then you can learn to write this shape.

It won't take too long to learn this shape.

Second stage is to pronounce the shape.

There will be lots of methods to pronounce it.

You can use a French alphabet to pronunce it,  or a  Russian alphabet to pronounce it.

No matter what kind of pronunciation method,  the shape and the sound are the same.

All other languages are in two steps. 

In between the "shape" and the "catch",   they need "spelling".

For example,

1.word-shape:  international (writing)

2.spelling:  in-ter-na-tion-al (pronounce the syllables )

3.word-meaning:  international (catch)

you need two steps to use the spelling word.

Its double processing in your brain.

There is a significance here.

Chinese is a fast language with a one-step approach.

Other spelling languages need a two-step approach.

The significance is in the process of thought.......if you need a language to help you think.  (Some people do not need language to think.)

You can think with or without language.

You can think with a slower language in two-steps.

Or, you can think in a faster language in one-step.

Now you will notice the importance of the "shape".

The shape is 舞 (dance)

or 舞蹈(dancing)

But if you put it as 

午(simplified word of dance)

or

午蹈(simplified word of dancing)

It is more than confusing.

It is hindrance, because the  resolution is not clear.

We can expect in the very near future, eighty percent of the population of the world can use Chinese.

It needs a one-step approach to help people learn.

Spelling might help a bit, but the traditional shape of the word is vital.
