What is the best interest for the whole world?
To promote world peace is almost impossible.
World peace will be the best interests of the world, of course. But if it is impossible, it is only a waste of time to dream about it.
Intelligence is another choice.
Can you do something to "promote" Intelligence?
Intelligence is driven by money or desire more than anything else. it needs not promotion.
However, there is very seldom a natural urge to search the secret about the Universe.
The best interest of human might be an unseen "urge" to know and to help.
Its the good side of the natural desire of humans.
It deserves the effort of talented leaders: to make a dream or, to promote dreaming.
