 Why is courage more important than strength?

Why is mental power more important than intelligence?

 It is a war theory.

 And it could be useful in daily life.

Here we have basically  four categories.

勇，力；     心， 智。

To fight with your enemy,  bravery is the first important.  

It seems that in modern satellite controlled wars,  strength is more important than bravery.   You need not bravery in button wars.

But to consider in a total of the four categories,   you will see the difference.

It needs a bravery to go forward and foresee the situations. 

And it needs a bravery to run and escape:  if you know where the danger is and do it earlier than expected.

Next issue is the importance of a mental power.

Mental power is far more important than intelligence.

Intelligence need the support of a mind.

Without mental power, intelligence is useless.

Important is to put the categories in a comparative situation.

It is said that one is "more" important than the other.

It is not to "replace" the other.

As mental power is so important,  but if  intelligence is lacking, complete failure and death will follow.

Very important is not to over act.

It is very delicate in a life and death struggle.
