Why a better watch can't be made up till this moment?

Can the hands of a mechanical watch be replaced?

Last night I was sleeping not very well.    I was half sleeping for the whole night. I found something not very interesting the next morning.

I kept looking at my old mechanic plus electronic watch last night.

It was a combination of  mechanic works and electronic works.

It was cheap and it is very good indeed. Its time is always correct,  and it can be used in swimming.  

However, it is a western design.

And I know the watch factory is closed.  I cannot buy a new one anymore.

Can the Chinese people design a good watch on their own?

I don't like electronic watches on the market.

If you want to see the time,  you need to push a button or do something on your hand.  You need to shake your hand or push the button to see the time.

I think it is not acceptable although electronical watches are selling very well in the market.

It is a failure of watch making.

Most electronical watches cannot swim or take a bath together with you.

I don't know why.

I don't know why they cannot combine the mechanics and electronics together.

Is the people not clever enough to design a better watch?

Or the markets not big enough for them to develop any study?

Or the knowledge levels are too low?

Can you expect them to create a better watch?

Who can answer this question?

Who can tell me the theory?
