閱報和看電腦，有甚麼不同？

到了某種成熟年齡，就需要配戴閱讀眼鏡了。許
多人不適應閱讀電腦。可能是因為他們不知道，看電
腦的閱讀鏡片，跟看書的閱讀鏡片是不同的。配眼鏡
的時候，跟驗光師說一聲，要一對專門看電腦的鏡片，
你的世界，就會立刻不同。
李察是在本年九月一日開始停寫報章專欄的。這
才忽然發覺，原來是自由了。從前，提到某段音樂的
時候，基本上是不可能讓音樂在報紙上出現的。但現
在可以了。上周日，提到荀伯克，就可能配上兩段you
tube。讀者只要輕輕點擊，就可以即時看到聽到。雖
然，這是不可能取代你去買一隻dvd 來看的。但這
已經有幫助了。
本來，純文字是每個作家的夢想。你毋須依靠任
何其他媒介，就讓畫面、聲音、顏色、氣味，在讀者
的腦海裡自然發生。現在有了小小輔助，不要太依賴
了。

Thanks for your article, which enlightened me of the advantage of reading your article on-line (as I have earlier expressed my disappointment about the discontinuation of your column 'asks' in Ming Pao from Sept 07.
Of course, as I have expressed in my comments to you and Ming Pao, although with the advantage mentioned by you, the on-line publishing/reading of your article still does not have the advantages of wide spreading and convenient reading as that publishing in newspaper, especially to and for readers who may originally come across your articles unintentionally.
I sincerely hope that the 'asks' can be published in local press shortly some day, especially in Ming Pao in combination with the very good pictures by Wong King-chai.
