The complex of a person is easier to heal, but the complex of a nation is in its culture.
When the culture goes wrong, everything is wrong.
At first, the complex is focused on a certain kind of metal. In the years of the gold rush, everyone is obsessed with gold. The focus of the whole nation is only in one thing. No one had argued about it. No one dared to say anything else. When the gold mines are finished, minds remain the same.
And the trend is global. The United States is leading the way. They were trying every means to squeeze money, if they cannot dig it from the ground, they will take it from your pocket.
