What is a gun-pointed friendship in international politics?
People are still talking and laughing and having grand dinners together with their guns pointing to each other.
It is the situation of modern international politics.
There has been no great war since the second world war.
But the guns are still raised instead of putting down.
No one can be hundred percent sure what will happen next.
Protection is important.
It includes military protection and cultural protection and science protection and economy protection, etc.
Can we predict this situation be faded out in the next 50 years?
Or the next 10 years?
The truth is: you will be safer if you can protect yourself.
You will lose everything if you cannot.
A breaking point could be cultural.
Can you talk with the same language?
When people cannot even talking to their own people in the same language nowadays, it is a luxurious dream only.
And my dream is:
If you cannot talk with each other, at least you can sing to each other.
Sometimes singing is still too political because singing is to use words.
Perhaps we can tune in our musical instruments and play some melodies without using words.
