It is very difficult to say that love is the basic value of humans.

But actually it is a hidden link between humans.

Humans will have no families if love is not included.

Humans will be living like animals if they have no love.

However, if you check with an AI,  the AI will tell you honesty is also important.   There will be no love if there is no honesty.

原文：

「上怒，因按劍謂鉉曰：『不須多言，江南亦有何罪，但天下一家，臥榻之側，豈容他人鼾睡乎！』鉉惶恐而退。」

二、歷史背景與上下文

當時宋朝已先後攻滅荊南、後蜀等國，對南唐形成包圍之勢。南唐後主李煜派博學的徐鉉出使宋朝，試圖以言辭說服宋太祖罷兵。

徐鉉在朝堂上極力陳述南唐無罪，言辭懇切。宋太祖按劍而怒，直接打斷徐鉉，說出這句名言。字面意思是「我的床邊，怎麼能容許別人呼呼大睡？」實際是宣告趙匡胤統一天下的決心，比喻自己的勢力範圍絕不容他人染指。

三、常見變體

後世流傳中產生多種變體，「安睡」也是其中之一：

· 「鼾睡」：最通行版本。

· 「安睡」：後世文獻亦見「臥榻之側，豈容他人安睡耶」。

· 「酣睡」：如《紅樓夢》第七十六回引作「臥榻之側，豈容他人酣睡？」
