What is "time"?

Important is:   where is the beginning of time?

It might be the most important question for anyone who likes to think.

It is almost unstoppable.  One might come back to that question again and again  in his life.

No one can give you a satisfactory answer.

There will be no answer for that in any books. You can only make up an answer for yourself.  

You can share it if you discovered anything.

I can tell you my childish discovery.

I thought time is only a measurement in your mind for anything happening:  And time is not a substance. You can measure time, but it is not real.  For example, if you build a house. And the house has lasted for seven years.  And these years is only a measurement for the house, it is not the house itself.   The house can be standing for another 100 years of time.  It is ok if you say it is time.   If it is a tree, you can see the tree is growing,  if it is a house you can say the house is lasting.   And you can also say the time is passing.  No one can deny time.   And no one can push time back.  And no one can take out the time and put it into some container to keep it and reuse it.

You cannot take out the time from a clock.   And you cannot reuse your time from your life. 

It is no answer to ask where is the beginning of time?

Therefore someone will agree that there is no beginning for this universe.

But it is against our common sense.

Everything must have a beginning, but why the universe has no beginning?

It is very sad if you cannot return to your young age.

The question is:  if I cannot be going back,  can I be going forward?

Yes.

If there is no beginning in time,  there will be no ending in time also.

The beginning of time is unconceivable.    And the ending of time is also unconceivable.

What is "unconceivable"?

It is human.

It is the thoughts of human.

If you are one of the human,  you will know what is unconceivable,  and you will not be happy with that.

It is the reason for further study,  and keep the question open.

If someone has never thought of it before.........

It is better to let them know.   It is the real reason for wars and many unhappy things.
