How important is quietness?

How important is quietness?

I have almost forgotten the importance of quietness.

 I think I am better than many others as everytime I am writing I must have a little time to sit still and think for a while before I get started.

But that was not quietness.

And I cannot tell what is quietness.

Some people stressed that there must not be any intention in the mind when  trying to be in quiet, and keep the mind in a state of emptiness, etc.

But I don't think it is a must.

Find a place and be still,  and you might feel the connection between your mind and the unknown sometimes.

I don't think I am a good meditator although I do have special feelings sometimes.

I will meditate more.
