Second Spring

 

Seventy is the beginning of the second spring of life.

  It doesn't mean that you are looking for a new girlfriend.  Rather, it asks you to open up a new area of ​​your mind.  

This is what God told us to do. 

 You were originally a writer. And you have traveled decades in the field of literature.  Now maybe you will become a scientist.  You will open a new area of ​​the brain.  And by this time,  you no longer have to care about your love affair etc., you can concentrate more on the Universe in your work.  You may be a scientist.  Possibly a calligrapher.  Or a singer. 

 Your realm is limitless. As the brain is a huge land  waiting for a traveller.   When you are breaking into a  new place, you are creating a new phrase.  

Your health will be perfect.  You will have extra energy from the new  job.

  It may take twenty years to open a new field in your life.  Or you may need forty years.  It doesn't matter how many years.

  Who cares?

  Development is what matters.  You will not leave this world empty-handed.  Because you have achieved something.  

To me, planting a tree is such a high ideal.  I might just be planting grass.  Plant a small grass in the back hill. 

 I shall not be leaving empty-handed with that little shadow of grass in my mind.

I am happy.  I know that the one above is happy with me.

七十歲是人生第二春的開始。這意思不是叫你找一個新的女朋友。而是叫你開拓腦中的一個新領域。這是上天叫我們這樣做的。你本來是一個文學家。文學的領域你已經走了幾十年。現在可能你會變成為一個科學家。重新開拓一個新的腦中的領域。而且這一個時間。你已經不再需要顧及什麼男女事情了。更加可以專心做好你的事。你可能是一個科學家。也可能是一個書法家。或者一個歌唱家。你的領域是無限的。當你開拓新領域的時候。你的健康也隨即會好起來。開拓一個新領域。可能需要二十年。或者四十年。多少年是不重要的。管他呢。開拓才是重要的。你不會手空空離開這個世界。因為你已經有所建樹。對於我來說。種一棵樹真是太高的理想。我可能衹是種草。在後山裏栽植一棵小草。我也有所建草呢。
