Where to start for a million jobs?

I was waiting on the roadside in Hong Kong for the rain to stop.   I have no idea about this rain.  Will it stop in 10 minutes or 30 minutes?

I decided to give it 10 minutes.  

It didn't stop, but I didn't care. I needed to go.

And suddenly this thought occured in my mind:

The meaning is simple,  yet the resoluion might be subtle:

"Where to start for a million jobs?"

I suppose the job is a huge job.  It needs 300 years to finish.   And now you are responsible to a start.

What shall I do?

Can I start by singing a song?

Why is China not necessarily the East?

The term China means central.  It does not mean the East.

And the world is not divided in East and West.   The concept of dichotomy might create unhappy results.

But if you study the Chinese way of thinking, it is different from the Western way of thinking.

It seems most of the Chinese are right brainers.     The writing system they use shapes the way how they think.

No matter it is a simplified Chinese or a traditional Chinese,  it is completely different from a spelling language.

For example, if you see a word 鳥 , there will be an image to tell you it is a bird.   There is no sound in the image.

If you use English to say or read it,   there will be a sound including the spelling in the image.

Chinese words are just different from the spelling language.  It needs not to "translate" the sound into image.

China is not necessary in the East,  but it seems that they are in the right side of the brain more.

The right side needs not to fight with the left side:   It is too childish.

It seems that the Chinese are mostly right brainers while the Western people are mostly left brainers.

They need not to fight each other, or look down on each other.  They are good friends like your own left and right hands.

It will be another day when the East is red and the West is dark,  or when the East is dark and the West is dawn.

Will the problem between the East and the West become a major issue?

And most important of all: can the problem be controlled?

Or the problem has its own way of growing?

Will there be a future world war between the East and the West?

Can humans settle their problem with only one means of war?

Can they try other method to settle their problem?

The problem will be shown in the issue of Taiwan in a not very long future.

If the problem can be solved peacefully and delicately,  then the East-West conflict will be postponed a few more years,  but it will not be disappeared.

What is the future of a non-solvable conflict?

Time is not on the side of the West.

It is because:  the East is on a upward trend, while the West is going downwards.

Is there any other unknown issues ahead?

This could be a serious matter but if you take it too seriously, you cannot sleep.  Time is important,  but why is it important?  It is because wasting time means wasting life.   And sometimes you need time to rest.  And sometimes you need time to prepare yourself. And sometimes you need time to have some amusement. If there is no amusement, you cannot think.

The most important issue about time is the judgment..... If you know what is important and what is not important, you will not be wasting time.

Albert Einstein never wastes time combing his hair..... but if I do the same,  and keep my hair dirty,   I will not be another Albert Einstein.

The point is to know what is important.

I thought the book must be selling in a huge price if you can find one nowadays.

It was one of my treasure when I was young.

My mother was dead when I was 11, lots of other poor families started moving into our house to share the place in high rents.

Our house was crowdy and noicy suddenly.

One of the neighborhood elders gave me that book, asking me whether I like it or not.

The book was only half inch thick and really thin. May be it was only the second or third volume of the novel.

But it created a long lasting memory in my childhood.

The papers were white, pale in color,  and very filmsy.

The printed words are small, maybe half the size of a modern font.

It was until now that I can understand that it was for saving papers,  keeping the printing cost lower.

I read it again and again in great pleasure.

And I believe I will need a magnifier if I got it now.

How can such a memory be floating in my brain nowadays?

I was in Macao by then.

If I were in Taiwan, things will be no different.

The happiness will be the same.

Because the words were printed in normal Chinese characters.

It will be completely tasteless if it were printed in simplified Chinese.

It was not one or two or several images floating in your brain.

It was millions of them.

You never know how many millions of words have been flying before your eyes.

You'll never know how high the pleasure was psychologically happened and planted into the mind.

And of course, you need a perfect printing.

And it must not be in a simplified copy.

Do you rub your toes everyday?

Albert Einstein did it everyday,   I do not know his intention in doing this.  It might be that he was trying to help the blood flow in the toes.   If the flows were improved at the bottom, then they would  go more  easily up into the head.

I did the same everyday,  it was only to heal  my problem in the toes skin only.   I "saw" between my toes like sawing woods with a wet towel. It might be useful to the brains too, I think.

Attend to the least important items can clean my brain.

Visit the poor can clear my eyes.

* The problem is called "athlete's foot".   My method is absolutely useful. My foot problem left me decades ago.   I had repeated  this method in my blog several times.   However I found it is completely unknown to the public.   As the advertisers are still selling all kinds of medicines in the tv to heal the same foot problem.   The public  never know the simple method.

Rubbing the skin with a moist towel can keep the germs away.  But you need to do it everyday.  Though many patient still doesn't know.

Do it not during the infected time. Do it after your skin is healed temporarily.  Wear dry shoes only.

First question is: How can the minds fight the satellites?

The next question is: Can the left brain replace the right brain?

The above is related issues.

No matter how "not advanced" in your technology,  people in all countries need to tackle that problem.  If your location and if your identity is revealed for the satellites,  a bullet is not avoidable.   It  is up to your enemy to decide whether to shoot or not to shoot.

Almost all leaders cannot walk in broad daylight,  and tunnels cannot be an absolute proof for safety.

Motorcades are not useful anymore.

The most serious problem is for the identity of any person needs to be protected.

Once the identity is clear,  there is no proof anywhere on earth.

Actually, it is the war of technologies, plus the war of minds.

The weakest point of the western technology is at its right side.

They cannot use their minds to judge.

Almost all the computer is an imitation of the human left brain.   They can do a little feeling and sensing.  But they cannot go deep into the right brain (for the present moment).   And they cannot use logistical devices to replace the subconscious.

For some of the talented human minds,  they can sense and they can predict.  

If you can know things to happen in advance, then you could be a little safer.

Yet there is no proof of it.

Can you build an umbrella on your head?

That is the question of importance.

But more important is to wake up your mind and activate your right brain.

Unexpected bombings could kill all the leadership.  And suddenly you are headless, you cannot think anymore.

It is not illusion. It is reality.  It happened only recently.  The Iranian leadership were all eliminated overnight.

It is the most serious political case since early history before Christ.

Not one of the wars were like that.

Because there were always a distance of countries in the old times.   They needed time to conquer the neighborhood.  

But time is not an issue anymore.

If there is no time, it means there is nothing left.

That's why you need to sleep less to gain time.

The term "modern times" doesn't exist anymore.

What shall I do if I have no time?

I must work to escape into my own time tunnel.

I must think rigorously to keep my own time.

Because time can change hands.

If I have time that means my enemies will not have time.

And the other side is true.

The Taiwan issue will not be very difficult.

It all depends on one thing:   The mind of the Taiwanese people. If you can win the mind, the issue will be settled before the first gun shot.

All the problems are behind.

If China is reunited and stand firm,  then the next issue will come up very quickly.

The Sino-American conflict is imminent by then.

American politicians will not allow this to happen:

They will not be happy to see a result of a reunited China.

The Taiwan issue will not be solved easily without  heavy interference from the United States.

Taiwan issue is the issue of a future war between China and America.

It will be uncontrollable if the minds of the Taiwan people are lost but.......

there will be a joy in Taiwan if the simplified Chinese writing form is not used.

All it needs is only a better appearance of the Chinese printouts.  

The Sino-American conflict will not be disappeared, even if the Taiwan issue is never solved.

But if the issue is delayed 20 years more,  then it might be extremely difficult for the future.

Some time is a logical left determination,   sometimes it is a whole scenario from the right.

People need to calculate from the left and determine from the right always.

The right brain determination is a more complicated operation.

What is a deep understanding?

It is from cultural backgrounds like history or philosophy, etc.

However,  American politics has changed.

There is no swinging to the right side.

It means there is no cultural background consideration and no feeling.

It is always a complete calculation from the left-brain.

They will not hesitate to shoot and to take.

You need to aware of their bullets at any time.

Time is only meaningful for individuals. People  often ask themselves:  how much time do I have?  There is always no definite answers for them.  You will never know how much time is left for you.  And most people do not consider it seriously.  Only an exceptionally few people could have a plan for that time limit.

It might not be a time limit for individuals.  It might be a time limit for cultures or the whole of human species.

No one would ask such a question:  

What are we going to do before we are extinct?

What if the extinction is unavoidable?

If you are brave enough, you will stay here to think for a while.

It is the only chance to study the ultimate purpose of this universe with this extinction in mind.

"What I can do is only to do the best of my effort  before I am gone......"

Time is actually an important and unavoidable issue for humans.

You need to finish many things before you are gone.

You can put it as a joke, but I will tell you it is true.   Me and the universe is the same.   You can sing a song like "Me and my shadow".   If you change the words into  "Me and my universe",   the feeling is more or less the same.

Do you know how difficult is for the universe to find a place to accommodate you and me?

Now it seems the universe is succeeded in finding a place for you and me.

If you go to Hong Kong and find a place high enough to see the seas.,   you'll see an opening facing the south.  And you can use a little binocular to watch over the south.

It is not imagination. It is a map. If you can see through the map you can fly  straight to  Singapore  through the little opening from the south seas.

If you can arrive Singapore soon,  it proves only one thing,  that the earth is a circle; that the earth is a round shaped ball.

Can you imagine that the universe is also the same?   The universe has got no shape.   But you can imagine that something without shape must be round.

The universe must be round like a ball.

What am I talking about?

It is something you knew already.

But what you don't know and what I don't know is the purpose of this universe.

Because in the minds of the universe, there might not be a word like "purpose".

They will never use that word.

Can you teach me some wisdom?

If you asked the question to anybody, most of them will be happy to give you some advices. Wisdom is difficult to define, however,  people will tell you their successful stories.

Wisdom is the result of a good action. 

Wisdom is the judgment and determination in the blood.  If your action is successful,  you will say it is wisdom.

Wisdom is the conclusion afterwards.

Most of the time wisdom was a good experience.

What if you are going to do something without experience?

No one have done it before.   And you have no reference and no one can tell you the result.

You can rely on your own judgment.

And your judgment was built according to your past experiences.

History scholars can tell you other experiences.

But the thing you are going to do is not the same  in history.

Not every one is feared.

With imagined outcome they would go.

Because an ideal is more important than  experiences.

If there are experiences, its only repeats to copy.

If you are striking for an ideal and you do not have experiences,  it meant only one thing:

You must be prepared to sacrifice.

People without a preparation to sacrifice will always remain a fool, if they dared.   However,  people are always  fearing too much.

Even if the lost is calculable,  people still hesitate.

It is because: the ideal is too small to keep them going.

What is the most important awareness for all humans?

We are very possible the only living creatures in this universe.

We are still alone with other plants and animals plus lots of microbes together.

We are a group of extremely tiny creatures in the unlimited space around us.

There might be aliens as the stories told us.   It will be better if other aliens do exist.   We will not be so lonely and we will have a chance to learn more.

But the aliens are very unlikely to be true.

It is really possible that we will be alone forever.

It will be meaningless to argue whether we have companies or not.

But if you believe we are truly alone,  you will come to a state of mind and that is very strange.

No other thing can help you.

It is best if you can believe in religion.   A good religion can stop you from thinking further.

You can leave all problems to the religious gods and stop thinking.

But you will have a good starting point if you can believe that there is no one to help you.

It is your sole responsibility to live like a true living being in this universe,  and find a meaning for it.

You'll find the true meaning of living if you try. 

Because no one else can give you a true meaning except yourself.

And that is not enough.

You need to convince your fellow beings to think the same.....or at least you will be working together for a basic understanding of the meaning of lives.

It is very basic and it is very important.

Because if you have started thinking you'll be strong.   And you will have a better chance to live on with other thinkers together.

You will not be alone anymore.

Because someone will be with you.

Are there ghosts on this planet?

My personal answer is yes.  Because I saw them. But I saw them only once.   It was in an underground carpark near a funeral parlor.  When I was driving upwards from the basement four to basement three,   I saw three or four of them entering  a parked car.   They were not walking but floating on the air.   Actually they were floating into one parking car.   The next day and the day after that when I tried to see them, they never appear again.

I was not sleepy and I was not drunk. I was in a good spirit that day.  And I believe I have a good eyesight to  see them.

Ghosts are not common in human society.   It happened at some special moment and were seen by only a few people.

I believe if ghosts do exist,  it is for a few of them and for a short time only.

You will never see historic ghosts.  History figures never show up as ghosts.....

Is the problem of ghosts important?

If this problem can be explained clearly by future people,  then humans will know their situation better.  Life may not be so simple as we now understand,  it could be more complicated.

I think we can believe human is the only life in this entire universe.  It was said that no microbe was found elsewhere.......but still,  we can use our common sense to know that we are alone.....science fiction stories are not true.   We were alone, we are alone and we shall be alone.

This is a very important setup for our system of thoughts.

If we are alone, we need to ask why.

Why our duty is not shared.

No other life or even  microbes will share, interfere or help with our work in this entire universe.

Why it is a basic setup?

Because if people do not have such a feeling about his life,  he would be weak.

He might not be able to think properly about his own role as a human.   He will resort to other means of living as a human.  He will be in urgent need of money.  Wars were happened in this way of ignorance.

Many questions will arise from such a basic setup.

For example, why there is a universe?   And why it needs living beings in this universe?

What is the future of this universe?

When people are at war they will never think of it.

What if wars are eventually eliminated from this planet?

What is the use of an eternal peace for humans?

It needs a deep thought to arouse such questions.

Or it needs only a cup of tea to start thinking.

What is "time"?

Important is:   where is the beginning of time?

It might be the most important question for anyone who likes to think.

It is almost unstoppable.  One might come back to that question again and again  in his life.

No one can give you a satisfactory answer.

There will be no answer for that in any books. You can only make up an answer for yourself.  

You can share it if you discovered anything.

I can tell you my childish discovery.

I thought time is only a measurement in your mind for anything happening:  And time is not a substance. You can measure time, but it is not real.  For example, if you build a house. And the house has lasted for seven years.  And these years is only a measurement for the house, it is not the house itself.   The house can be standing for another 100 years of time.  It is ok if you say it is time.   If it is a tree, you can see the tree is growing,  if it is a house you can say the house is lasting.   And you can also say the time is passing.  No one can deny time.   And no one can push time back.  And no one can take out the time and put it into some container to keep it and reuse it.

You cannot take out the time from a clock.   And you cannot reuse your time from your life. 

It is no answer to ask where is the beginning of time?

Therefore someone will agree that there is no beginning for this universe.

But it is against our common sense.

Everything must have a beginning, but why the universe has no beginning?

It is very sad if you cannot return to your young age.

The question is:  if I cannot be going back,  can I be going forward?

Yes.

If there is no beginning in time,  there will be no ending in time also.

The beginning of time is unconceivable.    And the ending of time is also unconceivable.

What is "unconceivable"?

It is human.

It is the thoughts of human.

If you are one of the human,  you will know what is unconceivable,  and you will not be happy with that.

It is the reason for further study,  and keep the question open.

If someone has never thought of it before.........

It is better to let them know.   It is the real reason for wars and many unhappy things.

I expect there are different kinds of thinking systems in this universe.   And perhaps the human thinking system is not enough to consider all problems in this universe.

For example, in the human thinking systems,  space is measurable.   But the space itself is not measurable.   You cannot measure anything without ends. 

Therefore the question "what is space" is not easy.

Humans do not have necessary tools to measure the universe.

The universe is almost a complete unknown for them.

What then?

You are living in an unknown and you are also an unknown to yourself.

What can you do?

Anything.

You can try,  you can cry,  you can fly.....until that moment, you are satisfied. And you are exhausted. And you can keep it in mind for the next attempt.

But the question of space remains always a question.

The worst part is that you have been equipped with a mind of asking why.

You'll never be stopping without asking.

And it might be the basic design of this universe and humans.

They need to ask why, and they need to be satisfied until that moment comes.

There will be a moment of something.  And this is your temporary answer.

There will be a moment and we are all expecting.....

and,

It is not important if there will be anything happening in the future.

Because,

still you can try anything.

It might be the best design of this universe.  You will not be able to know it before it happened.  It will be tasteless if you know it all.   You'll never give up because you can never know it.

Numerous thinkers have studied about this question.

Even if humans are born naturally, but not created, the question remains the same.   The theory of creation is difficult to explain itself.   If humans are created, then who created the creator?

Actually we will come to the discussions about why there is human in this universe.   And the next question could be:  why there is a universe?

It is a wonderful feeling to imagine about the existence of this universe.

You'll be puzzled why there is a universe here?

And the answer could be easily made by yourself.

You can ask:   Why am I here?

And please do not expect  your mother and your father or your real creator  can give you an answer.   It was like farmers can grow a rice.  But farmers cannot create a seed.

No one can answer that question: Who created me?

But if you can ask yourself :  "Why am I here for?"   Then you will be nearer to your question.

Because if you can tell the purpose of your life:    You will know why you are here.

It is important.

Because you'll be strong if you know why you are here.

You'll be strong and very strong.

And the question about why the universe is here is explainable.   If you know why I am here, you know why the universe is here.

"To enforce the will of Heaven" is a long remembered teaching in China.(替天行道)

It shows very clearly the relations between human and Heaven.

It means "we" are working for Heaven,  not Heaven working for us.......

If one day people dare to change the concept above,  it would be another era of thoughts.

However,  people are easy to fall on the concept of a combined unity of human and Heaven.

But it is not important.

Important is that you are working.   Important is that you are working for a general well being of humans and the heavens.

Important is that you are working not for the evils but for the heavens.

Why is it important?

Because if you can believe you are on the side of justice, you will be going forward without fear.

You will have a clear mind, much clearer than your enemies.

Important is the acquired quality from your own effort.

Actually, you are helping the evolution of human beings.

And that is of utter importance.

Seldom of any people can aware that he is pushing the human qualities forward.

Everyone is a part of the power pushing forward the human beings.

It is the most important evant in the cultural history of the world.   Never before have the connections so wide and  penetrating among different countries and cultures.  Results will be noncomparable if you see it 500 years later.

Humans have a different method in spreading of knowledge and spitits.

One is to guard them not to disclose and the other is teaching and learning.   The world people will see that China is doing a good job.   It is the most important evant in history.  There were lots of wars and fightings in history,   and it is very few peaceful communication events happening.

Many places in the world is like a desert unknown to the "civilized" world.   And now the barriers have been broken.   There will be a much bigger change soon.

Belt and road is a peaceful approach.   It is never like the colonial wars. There were  big changes after each of the colonial war.   And now the development is totally different.  True result will  appear before eyes.   The world is truly opened.

The theory, is the same with breathing.  

We need the power to push our muscles and our lungs to breathe.

Meridians do not move.    It is something else moving along the meridians.

There is a power behind every motion in our body.

There is a power to close and open your eyes, or your mouth if you wish to say something.

Where does this power come from?

Is it from our food or some kind of an uncertain "will"?

We need an inner motivation to live on.

And we need an inner motivation to live a useful life.

It is simple yet it is subtle.

Not everybody can have a strong motivation.

Only a few.

How to live and serve better?

It happened everywhere and every day.   Money is the only measurement for everything, including truth.

Actually truth has become useless.

More important is money.

Money can measure everything including love.

And this is somewhere we call it the globe.

Money can measure everything.

When people use money to measure commodities, it is a general practice.

But the measurement is more "general" than that.

The measurement can measure more than practical objects.   It can measure abstract things.

It is not strange that money can measure emotion.  Love is counted by money.   There will not be anything like or dislike.   Only that the thing is measured by money.

Almost no one can say no to money. 

I don't know how many people will say no to keep their own inner feeling.

Feeling is not important at all.

It has become our daily life.

Will that be influential to our future?

It is almost 100% certain that money can manipulate our future.

Truth is in the hands of money people.

This is the worst thing in our time.

It is important to our health. And you can help it going.

 

任脈和督脈相會於牙齒。可以叩齒幫助他們聯結。兩條經脈都由丹田開始起行。任脈從軀幹前面往上，到達下排牙齒。督脈由軀幹後面經過頭頂、鼻頭到達上排牙齒。叩齒動作可使兩者連接。然後以意念帶動他們進入口腔、腹腔、丹田，完成一周的行程。之後，仍然可以利用想像的方式，指示任脈和督脈繼續，開始第二周的行程。仍是任脈在前腹上，督脈在後背上，再度由叩齒動作和想像的吞嚥，帶引兩者進入丹田。

The Ren and Du pulses meet at the teeth. They can be knitted (By clicking the teeth ) to help them connect. 

Both Meridians start from Dantian. Ren Mai rises from the front of the trunk up to the lower teeth. The Du pulse passes from behind the trunk through the head and nose to the upper teeth. The teeth clicking  motion can make the two connected. Then they will enter the mouth, abdominal cavity, and Dantian with imagined thought to push them forward the journey. After that, you can still use the imagined way to indicate that the Ren and Du pulse continue, starting the second round itinerary. Still Ren Meridian on the front abdomen, Du Meridian on the back, again by the teeth clicking  action and imaginary swallowing, leading both into the Dantian.

The Meridians can be pushed by imagination easily.  They will obey thoughts.   Imagination can guide them forward.

note:   Maybe it was due to the Taiwan issue,   the U.S. Secret Underground Party in Hong Kong pressed me hard.   They intruded into my life and my living. Trying to stop me from everything.  I don't know how long can I keep on writing,  or living.

May be someone still believed the Underground Party is his team and his men, but actually they are tools of the U.S. secret services.

It would be best if military measures are avoided.

Enemies are watching.

They would like to know how the Chinese would handle the problem of Taiwan.

Trivials with the Philippines is only a testing stone.  It is obvious and everyone knows that it is for a test only.  This is the test not for a determination, but a small game.

What is the other measure besides military?

It will not be disclosed,  as it is a military secret.

To capture the mind before everything...... this is not a secret.

It doesn't need to ask how, because the measure, and all the tactics are prepared supposingly.

The so called "hidden measure"  was always seen in history.

And it is too popular.

People are expecting your underhand.

Can planes replace cars very soon?

There may be two problems for plane makers to solve.  The era of flying is real if these problems are solved.

Problem 1

Planes will be much bigger than cars.   They will be lighter but the space they need will be much bigger.  They will require a relatively large amount of space.  You have trouble to locate your plane after your dinner.   You will find the city is too small for planes.   It will have a better use in remote villages, not cities.   Can you fly back to your home in multistory buildings?

Problem 2

You need to use a plane without electricity,  like birds.

That means you need to do away propellers.

This is the real problem provided by heavens, not humans.   The dream of flying is still a remote dream.  But it is stimulating.

Can humans invent something to replace electricity?   Can humans use muscles to fly and not use electrics to propel?

It is a real challenge for our future.

note:    You will be truly flying without electricity and without fuel....think more.

Yes, I think planes will outnumber cars very soon.  You will not see lots of cars on the road, but lots of planes on the air.

Maybe it is annoying for some people.

Because planes can block your view.   And they can block your sunshine.

When you raise your head, you see planes covering a large part of the sky.   You will miss the car days by then.   You say, oh, I hate those planes.

And I would say me too.

No one likes the dark colored planes covering all the sky.   They were painted in different colors,   but when they blocked the sunshine,  they will become dark.

And they would not be gone quickly like birds.   They would become highways upon your head.   You will be living under the networks of highways forever.

Do you like your days be like that?

I would like to return to the old days.

I would like to travel with my bicycle,  but not a flying machine.

I believe poets will be less and less until zero.

There will be only rock music left.   But there will not be really rock music, but an air-tight kind of beating on your face.

Young people will love it. 

If you can choose, will you choose a future like that? 

Problems is you have no choice by then.

Therefore one thing is important:

There is not a voice to tell us where to go.

You only saw how a celebration was happening to celebrate a birthday.

Will there be more wars in the near future?

Will there be more resources changed hand in the near future?

The problem is not how the countries treat each other.

Someone loses someone wins.

The problem is in a mixed cultural future.

Will there be something nice to happen in the near future?

Good things are expecting to happen.

It is a time of growth.

Flowers will open.  Harvest is expected.

Will the culture of China be different in 10 years time?

If it is not China, if it is the United States,   the answer will be obvious no.

The United States will not change in 10 years time.  They will remain the same for the next 50 years or so.   I hope it is not too disappointing for the people of the United States.

But China will not be the same.  There will be lots of changes in China.

I expect the Chinese language will be returning to its traditional form.  Because it is easier to read and write in the computer using the traditional form of Chinese.  The only interference is from politics itself.  Politics is always a backward pushing power.

Will there be other changes other than language?

Can they have a shift in music and literature?  I'm afraid the answer is no.

Would that be a lift in science and technology?  I'm sure the answer is yes.

You can expect the Chinese will be losing balance in 10 years time.

They will be rich and very rich in materials.  They will be poor and very poor in spirits.

Please mark the date. 

It will happen in 10 years time:  if nothing is to be done to prevent such things happen,  the unbalance of China will push the world going to a more unbalanced state.  

And unexpected things could happen in such a broken balance.

The culture of China will not be much different, but the outcome of a future culture could break all the balance.

Will there be a war?

May be and may not be.

But the broken balance of a culture could easily push everything into a dangerous chaos situation:  with or without a war.

To compare with electricity,  qi is very slow.

Electricity is a revolution.   Everyone was excited when it was first discovered.

But qi has got a response of "so what".

People heard it and turned their heads away.

It is not stimulating and it is not exciting.

Not very long ago,  people had found the  importance of oxygen.   But qi can never be comparable with oxygen.  

Maybe it is more subtle than electricity. 

It is not easy to explain "qi".

Many people can feel it,   but few can explain it. 

And it is not useful outside the human body. 

I hope future people can tell us more about that.

Lots of people are studying about it, but important findings, if there are many..... are not easily seen.

The title is wrong.   Qi cannot make you a good singer.   Qi can only give you a good voice.

It is interesting to find it different,   just like a piano is not the same as a pianist.   What a pianist needs is a piano.   If a pianist do not have a piano,  the pianist cannot make any music.

It is a very simple matter.

The point is why.

Why qi can give you a good voice?

The qi can arrived your chest and your head to produce a sound.  It is the force you can have in your whole body.   It is the strength to push out a song.

If you want to sing well you need to learn how to bark like a dog.    The barking is from the dog's whole body.   The barking  is pushed out by inner energy.   The barking is not from the mouth.   If you can bark like a dog,  you might have the voice to sing a good song.

Qi can be seen in many places.  For example,  hand writings.  A strong calligraphy can show its strength of qi.  

What is the meaning of 一氣呵成 (Completed in one strike of qi)?

Something is pushing from within.

You'll be successful if you have it.

You will need a lifetime if you want to master it.

To have a full utilization of qi,  it needs time, and talents.

In Chinese language, the two words are the same.

They are not the same in English.   Although there is no "qi" in older English, "qi" is a new English word.

However, it is  important to know the difference.

It is easier to understand what is air.

But if you need to define qi clearly,  I thought most of the dictionaries couldn't help.

Many can feel it, but few can define it.

It is still a miracle in human experiences.

Qi is definitely not air.

If qi is air,  human body will be blown up easily.

Qi is more than that.

I hope modern scientists can explain it clearly for us.   Because if they can explain it,  they might be able to make it.

Strange is: even though few can explain it, but it can be used in many areas.

You can write better,  sing better, walk better, run better........and most important of all:  you might be able to think better and live longer.....with the help of "qi".

It is a simple matter, but it cannot be realized fully.

Strong one will become stronger and stronger if all resources from the weak are robbed.

Soon the situation will become unmanageable.

Can you find something to replace electricity?

It will be a sudden explosion of the human mind in the near future if they have found something to replace electricity.

But the point is not the "thing" they are going to  discover.

The nearest thing alongside electricity is "qi", I think.

But "qi" might be out of the question.

It will be a waste of time if you are putting lots of efforts into the "qi "study.

Because "qi"cannot leave the human body - its only my own observation.   And I hope some people can discover more.

"qi" could be a trap for scientists.

If qi cannot leave the human body, it would be useless in other field.

And the point  is not in the new energy.

The point is in the finding itself.

Has it been started?

Maybe not.

I hope some discovery can be found by someone, somewhere,  in some remote areas......

As soon as possible.

And I hope some rich people can offer a prize, a bigger prize for the  encouragement  of a new finding.

Do the Chinese know that they are mostly right- brainers?

As far as I am concerned,  the answer is no.

And the answer is not from a full investigation.  But I personally believe it is true.

Most people will not know the difference between a left brain and a right brain.

Only a few people know about it.   But it is useless for the population.

Awareness is important.

If there is no awareness, there will be no action.

Do you know you are a right brainer more than a left brainer?

If you know it, you can fully utilize your own brain.

If you know it, you can easily understand the people around you.

You can search deeply into their mind to know their motivation and their limit.

The theory about the left or right brain has been established almost 50 years.

But it is not a popular culture.

It is only the observation of a few.

And I don't know how long it needs to wait.

Progress will not be made without a fully awareness of the brain.

莊子發現了思維的何種規律？

　　三年前，當李察完成《莊子原著和莊子原理》一

書的時候，一直無法出版，只能放在網上，與讀者見

面。今天才發覺，這書無法出版，是一種幸運。因為，

三年前的李察疏忽大意，未能看出莊子寫作「渾沌故

事」的用意，錯以為這篇文章是偽作。幸運是出版的

困難，使李察有機會一再反思，發覺錯誤之餘，更發

覺了莊子思維中更加深入的另一個層次。所以，還是

要多謝各種困難與橫逆才對。如果諸事順利，莊子的

真相，必定更難被世人知道。

　

　　其實，分辨文章真偽，有一個最直接的方法：真

的作品，通常極美。而「美」是無法假冒的。「渾沌

故事」之美，李察竟然錯過了。這一個錯誤，也是有

原因的。因為，當時的對立想法太強，以為偽莊子反

對求知，主張以順物自然的方式，統治天下。而渾沌

故事中，好像主張反對「開竅」，不是假的是甚麼？

這樣一想，故事中本來的美，也沒有考慮到了。其實，

倘能把文章從偽莊子的「應帝王」篇中抽出來，獨立

觀看，嚴格排除對立思維的影響，或者不會犯這一個

錯誤。偽莊子的岐路是甚麼都政治化。所以，偽莊子

也不可能了解：為甚麼渾沌不需要使用感覺器官。這

一點，是需要離開政治的狹窄見解，才能看見的。

　

　　西方世界，要到了弗洛依德出現，才發現了「潛

意識」，又要等到了二十世紀六十年代，才發現了左

腦和右腦的分別。而莊子的貢獻，當然是沒有這樣具

體。他只是發現了，在思想的時候，有兩種不同機制。

一種是需要使用感覺器官的，另一種是不需要使用感

覺器官的。這一個不使用感覺器官的機制，莊子用了

一個「中央之神」去象徵。表面看，這是很簡單的故

事。但深入去看，就看到，莊子的創見，比東方西方

所有的人，都早了兩千年。

　

　　而這一個思想，是跟莊子的其他文章，互相呼應

的。「以神遇不以目視」中的「神」，就是「渾沌」。

　

　　在「李察講的莊子故事」中，李察加了一些枝葉，

希望故事的內容，更加清晰一些。而莊子原文中，的

確是只有南方、北方和中央三位神仙。好像是莊子一

早已經知道了，將來是會有東方西方的其他神仙，同

來參與遊戲的。

　

　　至於在故事中加上了Power Point 的內容，是

因為李察感覺到，這一個玩意，有導致思維僵化的可

能。點列方式的思維，使現代人更加遠離了「渾沌」

的思想境界，可能是本世紀最大的思維陷阱呢。

附：原本的「渾沌故事」

南海之帝為儵，北海之帝為忽，中央之帝為

渾沌。儵與忽時相與遇於渾沌之地，渾沌待

之甚善。儵與忽謀報渾沌之德，曰：「人皆有

七竅以視聽食息，此獨無有，嘗試鑿之。」

日鑿一竅，七日而渾沌死。

(語譯)

南海的帝，名為儵。北海的帝，名為忽。中央的帝，

名為渾沌。儵和忽來到渾沌的地方，渾沌對他們也很

好。儵和忽想要報答渾沌的好處。就說：「人都是有

七個孔的。那是用來看，聽，吃，呼吸的。但渾沌卻

是沒有。不如為他鑿一下。」每天為他鑿一個孔。七

天之後，渾沌死去了。

後記：

多少年來，中國文化俱以為，「未曾開竅」是不好的。

但莊子原意並非如此。香港的殖民地文化，一向強調

「精英」教育，鼓勵青年人要做「醒目」的「叻仔」..........

莊子的真正「開竅」，可能要等下世紀了。(李察補誌於

To be balanced is not an aim.

Balance is only a tool.

Balance is not a purpose.

It is simple and it is obvious.

Why it is still a problem?

If you tell yourself:  Yes, I am balanced and I am not involved.  

The meaning is that you will not do anything.

You are only floating on the sea.

You are not going anywhere.

To keep balance is only a basic necessity of a ship.

But if the ship is to go anywhere,  the ship must sail forward.

Going forward and keeping balance is one thing.

Ancient wise people in China were stressing too much in balance.  

It is conceivable in many cases.

But it will be advantageous if you can go forward.

Safety is in going forward more than floating.

Ancient wisdom of balance is not enough in modern times.

I have a conclusion in my mind.

I believe you knew it already.

I thought it is agreed in most of the Chinese minds:

Its a must to be balanced.

The meaning of balance cannot be said in a few words,  but every one knows it.

In the subconscious mind of China,  people are not seeking bigger or higher,  or richer.

They want only a balanced situation.

Yes, you can go higher and higher.   But you need to be balanced in a higher place.   It will be dangerous and useless if you are not balanced in a higher place.

And it doesn't mean that you must stay in a lower position.   You can try and you can fly.   But you must always be balanced.   You can fly higher and higher if you are balanced.   You will fall if you are not balanced.

It is subconsciously built long ago.

Everyone in the higher position,  no matter he is a merchant or a professor,  will keep that in mind.

This concept is seldom seen in other cultures. 

Ancient talented Chinese people must be very thoughtful.   They have provided a safe path for their children in only one word:  「中」.

The challenge comes 5000 years later:

Is there another one word can lead you go for another 5000 years?

I think most people can tell you one more word after  the word 「中」.

If humans have crossed that bottom line,  then humans will not be humans,   they will be another type of  creature cannot be said to be human.

It is not difficult to define human.

People can tell you what is human and what is not human.

However, it is not easy to to search for the inner nature of humans.

Because the inner nature is not easily seen.

But you can feel it.

Anyone can know what is human and what is not human:  if he is a human.

Then what is exactly the nature of a human?

It must be in the "internal feeling" of a human.

It is easily seen everywhere.

Anyone who is relying completely on external calculations is not human.

Anyone without an internal feeling is not human.

Well, someone  might argue:  He's got limbs, he's got eyes, he's got ears that he can talk in your language. How can you say he is not human?

We need to use a Chinese proverb to define this:

雖生人世上， 未得謂之人。

I don't know where does this line comes from.

But It is true.

Who is human and who is not human could be seen by common folks.

It is an inner feature for everyone.

Or you can say,  it is a guideline for everyone.

And if you can think it more,  a question will come up from your mind:

Where does this guideline come from?

Who had defined human for humans?

" Internal feeling" is important.   It is more than  the feeling to define what is human and what is not human.   It helps you to survive.  It helps you to win.  So please trust your own internal feelings,  although sometimes you need to listen to external explanations.

 What is the best time to write?

Tonight is a very special night for me.   Never tried it before.   I dropped by the Hong Kong city hall accidentally.   I was on my way to the post office.  And I have a few minutes free,  I  just went  to the ticket office,   wondering whether I could spend some time here.

I brought a ticket and have a place in a coffee shop.  But I was amazed that so many people crowded in.   They were standing and waiting,  surrounding me.  It seems all very excited waiting for the performance.  

I hope I can enjoy a good night here,  with the souls of my reader friends together.

What kinds of music am I waiting for?   I have no idea.  But the ticket office girl told me it is superb and shouldnt have missed it.

It is a wonderful feeling when you were in the crowd.  You felt composed.   No one noticed me.  It seems everyone got friends here.  They were talking and talking.  I am not interested to listen to any one of them.   It was a good mood.  Everyone seems so happy.  It is a peaceful time.  No wars are going on here in Hong Kong.   You can find any place and you can enjoy yourself.

Still, there's 10 minutes more to go.   What will you do if you have 10 minues time for free?

Yes,  I can write.

And of course I dont mean sleep.   You'll die if you really can't sleep.  What I meant was that we are living under a huge secret,  if that secret is not a threat.

People are easy to put all the secrets under the name of a god. 

If you know the universe is such a huge place without boundary,  you will wonder why we are here.  If you are serious,  the problem will be in your mind forever.    You will be locked up in such a secret,   And there will not be a real place of rest for you.

Are we the only living beings in this universe?

We might need another thousand of years to answer that. 

Actually, it is the same secret.   If we are the only living being or if we are not the only living being:   the situation is completely the same.   I will not expect "other living being" will tell us more about this universe.   The situation is not changed. All the "beings" were living under the same secret situation.

Now let us talk something about "ghosts".

As far as I am concerned, I think there are ghosts.

But the life span of ghosts must be very short.

They might stay for a while..... Buddhists believe that.   And the ghosts will be gone afterwards:   I think they cannot stay long.   Don't you think the ghost of Julius Caesar can stay until today?   Don't you think the ghost of Emperor Qin Shi Huang can stay until today?  No.   Not one ghost story can last for that long.   They must be gone.

Then where are the spirits of life after life?

Yes, that is a secret.

That is a secret we cannot know it now.

It is a reality we are living under a huge secret.

It is a reality with our brain function that we cannot know what we are not expected to know.

Can you be still sleeping under such a huge secret?

Humans are all busy fighting and making money.

Everyone when they are not sick and when they are not in their death beds they will not reflect on such secrets.   By the time they were on their death beds,  they will not have any energy left to think.

What does it mean?

It meant when you are able you will not think and when you are not able: you cannot think.

We have only one choice:

We can put all the secrets aside and work on what we can work.

Because you can't do anything if you carry that secret on your back.  It is useless if you do not sleep.

Only one thing is important.

That we need to admit that we are living under a huge secret.  And that we need to let our children know about this.   And please do not use religions to hide that secret.

We will be humble with such a secret on top of our head.

Next time when you are fighting each other and when you are killing each other,  you can stop for a second and think about that.

Ignorant people will not be too ignorant if they know that they are ignorant.

Why it needs to ask why?

Because if you do not ask why you will never know why.   And it is not important.   So many people die without knowing why.  It is natural.

What is unnatural is human.  Humans found they are in this universe.  And not one of the explanations are satisfactory. 

They wanted to know why.  Why there is humans and what is the reasons for a universe to be born here.

It seems like a plant.  It seems like a tree. The tree is growing and growing.  In the eyes of a human.  Tree is growing more beautiful every day.  And it is not a reason.  You cannot tell in theory why it exists and why it is growing.  You can only feel it. Because our reasoning power is still young. We cannot know more than we can know.  You can talk with your cat or your dog. You cannot tell them what they cannot know.  And we are the same. We cannot know the knowledge beyond our understanding.

It seems to be a limit, and it seems to be a boundary. But there is no boundary in this universe.  It is the reason of our freedom. When there is no boundary and no end,  then you can go everywhere.

Are we happy in this situation?

Yes we are happy.

Still you need to ask why.

You will not be stopping when you are asking.

How to gain the trust of your enemy?

If you can do it,  you will win a prize not from  Nobel,  but from History.

When your enemy wants only to kill you,  can they still trust you?

It is extremely unlikely.

It might happened one day when people can trust each other, but not now.

World peace could be near if people can really trust each other.  

There is a reason for not trusting each other on this  Planet.

It is because people have not entered the period of peace on earth.  You can't trust anybody if they are at war.

The so-called world peace is only an ideal.   And the ideal is almost unreachable.

If one day this ideal is nearer,  it will be perfect.

There are evils on earth.  You can only beat them but not trust them.

Once you can trust evils. it meant they are not here with you.

It is really sad a situation on earth right now.

It needs lots of time and lots of people to work on it.

The question is:   can evils be eliminated from this planet?

If you say yes,  you might be able to help.....

And I don't know whether it's good or not.   You might need a lifetime to work for it if you are not changed.  And you might be the first aim of the evils.

How many words can flow across the brain in a young student?

I was a crazy reader when I was young.

I remember when I was in primary five, I borrowed the Monte Cristo story from the library.

It was a book in three large volumes. I can only borrow one book each day.  The first day I borrowed volume one. And returned it the next day to borrow volume two.   And then volume three.   If Alexandre Dumas was alive,  he will be amazed that the attraction of his story is so strong,  that a young student like me cannot stop reading.

It was a  Chinese translation.  I can still remember some of the scenes after so many years.  

And then it came some very cheap swordsmen stories.   I used to read them when I was walking home. Macao is a quite small city,  and it was safe reading on the road.

I read a lot when I was young.  And I cherished the experience.  Later I tried reading English novels. I remember my painful experience in reading War and Peace by Tolstoy the Russian writer.  It was an English translation.  It was so difficult for me and I need to look up many words with a dictionary.  

And I don't like reading simplified Chinese words.

It seemed the prints were blurred.  

I don't know how the Chinese young people read  simplified prints.

It occurred to me if  I have read a million words in my brain, and if the words were all simplified,  how frustrating it could be in reading.

How many blurred low resolution images could stop you from reading?

It is the smooth flowing images created a culture of the future.  

To delay reading speed is to delay civilization.

This is the reason why I am against the simplified Chinese words.

And my question is not -

"How many words can flow across the brain in a young student?"

Because it can change the feeling and make things emotional.

If Taiwan is to return to China, this emotional problem is utterly important not to be neglected.

But Taiwan issue is still a minor problem.  It is no big deal in the grand history of China.

The major problem is in a free flowing future for a Chinese reading habit.   It is not a minor case.

For the time being I can give you only my personal experience.

I thought it is no.

A simplified form of Chinese language cannot help you think better.

If I want to show my idea, I would want to show it fully.

I will draw a complete picture for you, not a simplified one.....

But the language problem is a serious problem:

Because it is like a lock up situation.

Even though you said it is no good, but it cannot change.

A whole generation of all people need to suffer from it.

It is no good for cultural development, but it cannot change.
