What if you cannot be an achiever?

Not everyone can go on the stage and perform. Not everyone can be a good performer. But anyone could be an audience.

Or if you cannot perform in this stage. You can perform in another stage. One day you can find your own stage. Everyone will be performing eventually. It's like every flower will be growing on a tree. You will always have a place to show your perfume if you are a flower.

If I cannot be a performer on the stage.,   Maybe I can be a doorman  for the theatre.   If I cannot be a doorman for the theatre.  I hope I can be a good outsider.

There are outsider and insider always.  I am my own insider. And you are welcome to come in. If you cannot come in, you are my outside friend always.

The world will be happy like this.

How did Li Bai 李白 enjoy music?

Actually the location is important.   You need to emerge into the music in a surrounding.

He was in a famous hill.  It was so famouse that by mantioning the name and you might wish to be there.  

A monk was with him,  and the monk brourght with him a very good musical instrument. It was made of a fine wood,  named the Green Beauty.

The monk stroke once and the notes were in his mind.   They have a very good time playing music together,  until the day was dark.

There were no video recorded and no any device to  record the beautiful moment.   Li bai can only wrote it down.   It was a poem.  And the poem lasted for thousands of years. Not the music, but the moment were there.   The music was with the moment together.

客心洗流水

餘響入霜鐘

不覺碧山暮

秋雲暗幾重

The problem is in the Chinese word 「入」。 It meant the music is gone in the mountain bell.

I have tried to correct it with the word 「在」:

Now the remaining sound is still in the mountain bell.

The music might be gone. But the beauty remains.

Why did Li Bai use the word 「碧」?

He could not shake away the idea of the greenwood.

He wanted to keep the idea of green in his poem.

But the idea of the greenwood was already there. It need not be repeated.

The name green beauty is from the wood which is green,  I suppose.

 And the word 「霜」is in conflict  with the term 「流水」,  better be changed.  「山鐘」seems better.
