我的問題是，氣是怎樣治病的？今時今日，仍無人說得出箇中原理。這是很奇怪的。你明明感覺到了「氣」，但是，不知道其中真相。

　中國人的研究步伐是太慢了。他們跟本未曾著力去做。如果中國人真的研究成功，氣就能帶來大量財富。
正是由於中國人自己未曾著力，就為全世界的外國人帶來了無限的「機遇」。我不會感覺奇怪，如果美國總統忽然宣佈，要在華盛頓建造一所中國醫藥大學。果如是，則美國人就會領導世界，真到下一個千禧。中國人真的是太慢了。而這就造成了「機遇」。
　　
　　而美國人也花費太多錢去研究孔子了。在美國的著名學府，設立了無數的孔子研究機構，那是完全無用的。唯一的用處，可以使中國學者們的精力有地方虛耗。或者，中國人真是有希望回歸清朝的睡夢境界的。所以，用這些錢去研究「氣」，可能更加實際一些。因為，「氣」就是未來的「電」呢。

「氣」是怎樣治病的？

為甚麼氣到的時候，疾病會忽然消失？

很多人會告訴你各種事例。奇蹟不是只有一次，而是有百千萬次。雖然，我只能說說我的有限經驗。

有一次，我的右肩有點毛病。因為用錯了力，企圖抬起一塊很重的水坭。這肩頭痛得這樣利害，拿筷子也沒有力，寫字也不行。

骨科西醫也無法找出原因。只說是內裡的軟組織組織可能受傷，給了藥。但吃藥是完全無效的。忍受了幾個月，終於下了決心去針灸。只要幾次就好了。

但問題不在這裡。

問題是，百十千萬次的「奇蹟」事例，但西方醫藥界仍然忽略。他們仍在使用舊方法。

　　而這就是人們的「正常」做事方式。
　
　　甚麼「方式」呢？
　
　　我會說，要轉移一種「典範」，不是那麼容易的一回事呢。任何國家的總統，也不會輕易感動的。他們不會輕易興建甚麼中國醫藥大學的。

I wish the readers could forgive my bad English here. I always hesitated to write in English. But I do wish some of the Zhuang zi ideas could reached outside the Chinese language limitation. However, language is but a bridge, once you have crossed the river, you can forget the bridge, though some bad English can be funny memory.

My question is: How does qi work? I wrongly spelled it as “chi”, now I realized it should be “qi”. However, no one could tell nowadays what is ‘qi”. It is a strange feeling you could felt it, but not knowing the real essence inside it.

The Chinese people are doing a slow work. They have not put in enough strength into the study. They will be real rich once they discovered the real qi. But now, it provides an opportunity for the rest of the world to probe for it. I will not feel strange if the President of the United States declared an Chinese medicine university be build in Washington, and I would definitely sure that the United States will still be in the lead in the next millennium. The Chinese are too slow, and that provides a chance.

American people have been putting too much money on the study of Confucianism. They have set up so many organizations in the Universities of the States, though it is completely useless except one thing, it could keep the Chinese talents busy working on it, and hoping that one day the Chinese could go back to Ching Dynasty and sleep again. And more practical thing, I would presume, is to use the money to study “qi”. It is the future electricity.

Why pains would suddenly gone if qi arrived?

Many people can tell their special experience. Miracles are performed not only once, but millions of times, though I can tell some or them out of my own experiences.

Once I had a pain on my right shoulder joint. It was because I had tried to lift a too heavy cement block. This pain was so strong, that I felt the right arm was weak always. I can not do many things, including to write with a pen, or using chop sticks. Orthopedic doctors had checked for me. No special reason was found, except they guess the tissues inside the bone structure was hurt somewhere. The problem lasted for a few months, and drugs are totally useless. Finally I decided to take up acupuncture. And it was healed after a few times of treatment.

And this is not the point.

The point is, millions of “miracles” had performed, and my orthopedic friends still ignored it. They are still using the old method.

And it is the “way” people doing things.

What “way”?

I would say, a different paradigm, is not so easily shifted. So the presidents of any country, are not so easily moved. They will not try to build a Chinese medicine university, anyway.
