Can meridians connect outside the body?

In traditional Chinese medicine, the human body is said to have 12 principal meridians. They are correspond to the six yin and six yang organs.

In addition, there are 8 extraordinary vessels (suchas the Ren Mai and Du Mai), which are also considered meridian-like pathways. The total number of main channels is often cited as more than 12 when including the extraordinary vessels.

It is only imagination that  the meridian should be connected,  or even  extended outside the body.

If the energy flow is "qi",  can it be used like electricity to "light up" light bulbs?   This is a question raised  more than 10 years,  but new findings are rare.......
