What if the Chinese lost writing ability?

 

If the Chinese are not using their hands to write any more,  if they are not using pens writing stroke by stroke anymore,  they will lose their hand-brain connection quickly.

The older generation will not feel it because they have been using pens since they were young.

How fast will they lose their hand-brain connections?

It might be only a few years when the computer have completely dominated all spheres of writing.

Or it might need a generation or two to delete the ability of the hand-brain connections in the Chinese mind.

Few would notice the hand-brain connection is so important.

And few would notice it will be deleted by the Chinese themselves.

Writing skills are not taught to the younger children anymore.

They have learned to use keyboards but not pens.

Teachers are simply not teaching them.

Is it a trivial matter?

When you are dealing with strong neighbors and when you are dealing with army movements,  how to use a pen seems to be nothing at all.

But it is not.

When you are carrying a baby in your arms on the battlefield, you need to take extra care.
