What if there is no iron in this Universe?

"Iron" is a strange but important thing in this Universe, or this planet.

If there is no iron, it means there will be no electricity.

If there is no electricity, it means human will not be developing so fast.

Electricity is coming from a strange magnetic design of a motor.

Electricity comes from a circular motion from the motor.   It is the magnetic effect of iron.

If there is no iron at all,  then there will be no electricity.

Maybe future scientists can invent some other kind of electricity without using iron.   Actually, it deserves a try.   If you can push something dancing or circling like a ballerina,   then you might have invented another kind of motor without electricity.  

May be the study of inertia can help.  Clever people can use inertia to replace electricity.

However, it is still a puzzle for us:   What if we have no iron and no electricity?

What if the industrial  revolution had never happened?

Can you believe that something is pushing humans going? 

If there is no iron at all on this planet,   we will be going back to the times before industrial revolution.

Maybe there will be no Opium War in 1842.

However, it is only a joke.  Don't worry.

Can intuition replace logical thinking?

It is obvious in wars as well as daily lives.

Your life will become suddenly mechanical and is unbearable in a totally logical situation.

It is because logic cannot fly.   Though you can simplify a logic,   but it is not easy to find another route through a logical plan.

Few people will know the secret of intuition.

It is more than literature.

It is another way of thinking that can help you.

Intuition can fly, but logic cannot.

Because life is more than a chess game.

Life is always in a chaos and complicated.

Some people found chaos is not acceptable.

But intuition minded people do not think like that.

The point is not a planned route.

The point is a sudden realization of something new.

It is not logic, it is intuition.

Logic is a lock sometimes.

That's why many big companies are just like prisons.

What is "unthinkable"?

"unthinkable" is not the same as "avoidable".

It is a common weakness of humans that they would avoid thinking sometimes.

Their thoughts will not go to the places they do not like to think.

For example, if you would like to think about failure or death?   Those were prohibited areas.

But unthinkable is not the same as the avoidable.

Brave people will not avoid any places.

Avoidable is not for brave people.

It is the basic requirement of Humans:  That you are not to avoid thinkings.  If you are well prepared, and if you are willing to accept the results, you will not avoid thinking anything.

But unthinkable is another area of thoughts.

Because it is outside the human thinking abilities.

We humans have only one thinking system.  Although we can design different languages and different science subjects or mathematics.

But still we have only one thinking system.

Now the requirement is for humans to go further.

If you can know that there are some places outside your imagination and outside yourthinking abilities  and even it is outside your dreams.

It can happen but you will not dream about it before.

It is the highest requirement for humans.

It means you need to prepare for the unthinkable.

Because nothing is a hundred percent sure.

Because nothing is absolute.

However, you need to go outside absolute areas to think.

It is not very difficult.

If you can make yourself unpredictable,  you'll be nearer to that goal.

It seems to be against common sense.

But it is not against common sense.

It is from the ancient philosopher of Zhang Zi.

It is called the absolute freedom.

You will be absolutely free if you are absolutely devoted.

For the above issue,   I should have said: why nothing is almost certain.

Things can change.

Nothing is absolutely predictable.

It is better to have a second option always. 

But it doesn't mean hesitation and delay.

Preparation is better than hesitation.

When your preparation is enough.,  things will be going according to your goal with a little push.

Most important is your first step.

If you have found that you are avoiding the first step always.

Be careful..

If you are not doing it, someone else will come to do it for you.

But if the case is not like this:

If it is only because you are too busy.

If you are carrying too heavy a workload supplied by your friends or your enemies.

"Keep him busy and he will forget...."

What are the most difficult questions unanswered?

For example, why there's a universe?

Where does this universe come from?

It was said that the universe is .coming from a tiny dot.

Well, but where does this dot come from?

And I guess some of the concepts in human civilizations is extremely strange:

For example, what is zero?

Can zero becomes something?

There is nothing before the universe,  can "0" becomes "1" ?

I always have some sense of guilt behind my questions.

I dare not asked questions because sometimes it will be blamed.

I think the term "zero" must be only a device of human calculation.

There was no zero before the universe was born.

And I thought that there might be no beginning for this universe.

The universe was always existing.  

The universe was there from the "non-beginning".

It meant it was there, it is there and it will be there.

If people found it strange, it is only that people has been equipped with a formula that there will be a beginning for everything, and it is " Unthinkable " if something happens without a reason.

It is on the  human mindset.   Humans are "accustomed" with a  thought that there must be a beginning for something.

It is not easily acceptable if you tell them there is no beginning for something.

What is "Unthinkable"?

It means it is a problem human minds cannot  process.

It is outside the processing ability of human mind.

How I was alerted by a voice?

It happened several months ago.  I was a serious music lover.   I tried to learn  playing guitar and I tried learning to sing.

The day when I was leaving my home and closed my door, I was in the corridor waiting for elevator.  Suddenly I heard a voice from the back of my head.  I cannot know whether it's from inside my head or from outside my head.   The voice said: "quit music".

I cannot know whether it's an order or something like a decision from my own self.

I put it aside for several days.

 I know it is good for me to concentrate in my work and not to put too much time in music. 

Several days later I gave away my guitar for good.

And it was several months later that I really decided to quit music.

Can you think in another thinking system?

Can you "quit" your system to think?

You'll be super smart if you can.

Because you are using another thinking system to analyze the world.

If there is someone who can manage to use a non-human system to see the world,  he will find strange things.

For example, if you go to see a doctor,  you can tell  him your feeling.   And he will measure your data. He will make a judgement for you, and according to that judgement,  he will punch some keys in his computer system,  and you will receive drugs. He will not use extraterrestrial system to analyze your case.   He is using the same system like any other humans are using.

Can he avoid using human systems?

Maybe not.

He had been working hard to earn his degree to treat you.   It is all his means to survive.  He cannot quit his position.  He cannot leave the keyboard in front of him.

Humans can quit his thinking system in only one place:-   dreams.

Strange things will come up to remind him something else......if he is truely smart.

Maybe we can never leave our existence to think.

But you can always fly higher.

People will be much smarter when they are returning from the space.

But still they are not using another system to think. Though they will be much smarter with some awareness.

Lacking awareness means failure,   and the opposite means a chance.

Why I hate my electronic watch?  

Every time when I need to know the time,   I need to shake my hand to wake up the light on my watch,  then they would let you see the time.

I like to use my old mechanic watch.   You don't need to pay attention to the time whenever you need to see it.   And the needles are running like real.   They are true time indicators.  They are not a shadow on a stupid device.

Maybe it is good, but I hate it.

Why it is good?

Because time is important.   You need to pay a little attention to it.  You don't need to do anything in a mechanical watch.  But now you need to do something to know the time.

Maybe it is truly good.

Because you need to watch the time always.

Yesterday, I planned to use one hour to study something.

I used an an electronic watch.

Time is passing away in an absolutely alerted way.

Oh my god!  Should I pay  so much attention to the minutes and seconds?

Can I forget the time and enjoy working?

I think if I can totally forget about the time,   I will be Free. But  I know it is not allowed.

So I am not so happy as I should be.

What is "Meaningful Happiness"?

Some philosophers insisted that  the aim of life is happiness.  Lots of such theoretical discussions were  quite convincing though sometimes discouraging.

"Happiness seeking" can be a wrong way of life and sometime dangerous.

And the term "happiness seeking" is doubtful and  parents are avoiding to mention it.

However, if there is no happiness ahead, the goal of life could be tasteless.

Can happiness be meaningful too?

I think the answer is yes.

The goal of life should be meaningful and it can  also be a happy voyage.

You will welcome a happy and healthy life.

In a view of some Western philosophers, happiness cannot be a goal because if you seek happiness, the happiness might come but it is a feeling can never be  satisfied,  if you keep seeking it, then you'll find it is a path of sadness. 今朝酒醒何處？ Where could I wake up from my drunkenness? It is a place called loneliness:   The shore of willows in the morning wind and some remains of a poor moon.

It would be different if your life is meaningful.

Although our life is in a very short life span,  but It is functional in a long run future.  Everyone matters.   Everyone is a concern.  Everyone is a seed to the future.  It needs a brain and a mind working together to think.

It is important.

It is like a small chicken  inside the egg shell.   The chick needs to attack the shell.   This is a basic rule for this universe.   You will die if you are not attacking.

If they are not taking your land,   they need to occupy your market.

It is common in everyday life.   I never know when is the most suitable time.   Maybe the problem is not time.   The problem is what.

What shall I do?

It is because there will not be a perfect planning for everything.

You always need to gamble a bit.

To be human is to face the uncertainty.

If everything is certain, then you are not needed.

Why the nature need the participation of human?

Humans are not predictable.

Then what are humans supposed to be doing?

All I can say is:  you are supposed to be doing within your judgement.

What is the ultimate regulation for humans?

Human behaviour are not always predictable.  Humans are not always sensible.

Not two brains are the same. 

No one knows exactly what is in the minds of his friend or foe.

The last resort is unavoidable always.

The last resort could be worse than war.

For example, a nuclear attack is the worse of all.

There will not be any ultimate regulation for humans.

But there is always a means to choose.

The so called "last resort" is war.

We must always remember that wars can happen and will happen.

The entire economic situation and social functions will be completely changed if a war breaks out.

Can a war be some kinds of  regulations for humans?

Obedience comes from a final regulation of strength, but not a reasoning power.
